Consequently, most of the entries that are "successful," the ones that work to grab our attention, are those like Andy Warhol's, the ones that focus on the mundane, the everyday snippiness of life. Warhol's entries, even at their most pretentious, with name-dropping raised to an art form, retain the air of a little boy done good-someone who is continuously excited by his good fortune but also worries that one day he'll wake up and everything will have been one long dream.
