La Causa, The Dark Souls Press and Records, and a slew of other on-campus and off-campus organizations sponsored the 4th Annual "Voices for the Voiceless" this past weekend. Billing itself as a 'poetic celebration of life, love, womanhood and leadership,' the presentation featured a gathering of African, Latino, Asian and Native American poets such as Sonya Sanchez, the Hartford Slam Team 2000, Jaime "Shaggy" Flores, Monique Jarvis and more.
