Art of the bizarre
By
Located right under our noses (or a mild drive away, anyway) in North Adams, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA) offers hours of fun and fascinating art. With massive and ambitious exhibits that rotate biannually, the museum contains pieces that appeal to all sensibilities, though, obviously, gallery-goers shoul not expect the ordinary.

Mass MoCA's current lineup is headed up by Robert Wilson's "Fourteen Stations," a grandiose modern rendering of the 14 stations of the cross. Other exhibits include Mona Hatoum's "Domestic Disturbance" (giant sculptures of household objects), "Game Show" (various interactive exhibits) and others. The picture above is taken from the "Maya" exhibit, a one-story tower of plastic collectibles.
