UMass presents Arthur Seagal Woodcuts, an exhibition featuring woodcuts produced between 1912 and 1919 by the Rumanian-born artist, who began experimenting with the art in 1910 after years as a painter. (Through May 17, University Gallery at UMass.)

Author Terry Tempest Williams will give a lecture entitled "Homework: The Art of Sustainability," a discussion about the ways in which we can adjust our lifestyles with greater concern for the environment. (Wed., 8 p.m., Buckley Recital Hall.)
