More or less … the main reason I came here was for the people. Everyone was just so chill when I visited.
What surprised you the most?
Anything? I guess my roommate. He and I are really, really similar. A lot of people really got screwed with their roommates. I was really afraid of the "horror story" roommate stuff.
What was your favorite TV show as a kid?
Probably, I'd go with … there are so many … I can't say I have a favorite anything. I'll watch anything, all the stereotypical shows.
Bugs Bunny?
Yeah, even Bugs Bunny. Even the old shows like "I Love Lucy" and "Gilligan's Island."
Do you know what live scrod actually looks like?
(Laughs) I'm assuming it has fins … scales … lives in the ocean … But I could be wrong.
Do you eat it?
(Laughs) No. I can't say that I do.
Let's just bite the bullet: favorite Valentine meal?
Probably some form of the chicken tenders. Me and my roommate stock up on those a lot.
Do you think anti-war protests after the beginning of war are futile?
I don't think it's futile. It's good for people's opinions to be heard, even after it's started. I don't think that the protesters are angry at the soldiers … just against what they're doing.
What's your favorite sporting event to attend at the College?
I have to go with girl's softball. My friends and I are groupies. One of our friends is on the team, so we went to a game with a dry eraser board to support her. Yeah, we were kind of ridiculous … hopefully they'll give us jerseys. (Laughs) Softball's pretty laid back. It doesn't get serious like the other sports. And there aren't usually that many people at the games so us being there is actually significant.
What do you think of Community Tea?
I just found out about those. My roommate came back with brownies, and I was like, "What are those?" And he was like, "Brownies." And I was like, "Where'd you get them?" And he said, "Community Tea."
So you didn't see the slip they sent around to the mail boxes?
(Laughs) I'm really bad with the mail. I usually throw half of it away.
If you could spend a month traveling in Egypt, Brazil, or China, which would you pick?
Brazil. Weather … beaches … ladies … No. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie.
What do you think about the ladies at Amherst?
(Laughing) Yeah. Um …Yeah … Yeah. Basically.
Pretend I just gave you a pet goldfish. What would you name it?
Pet goldfish? I have no idea … Flipper, Shark … something ridiculous.
What did you think of Michael Moore's speech at the Oscars?
I heard it was powerful-the way he did it was really tactful. [I heard] he said what he wanted to say without coming off as offensive.
Did you see "Bowling For Columbine"?
Yeah. It was a really good movie. It wasn't just about the gun issue-it had so many other things ... I know people will say that it's only showing his side, but I can't see how you can argue with those facts.
