I actually stayed at Amherst for a few days, just relaxing, cooking hotdogs over a fire-in a fireplace-and stargazing. It was nice to be mostly alone. I also went to visit a friend in New Hampshire for a few days. 

What's the best class you've taken at Amherst?

I would say Game Theory with [Professor of Economics Chris] Kingston, without a doubt. It's the sort of class that I would choose to spend free time on. And you gotta love his accent. 

What's your favorite movie of all time?

"The Truman Show" was recently dethroned by "The Royal Tenenbaums."

What do you think about President Marx's ban on smoking?

I don't smoke and I live in a smoke-free dorm, so I don't care. But I think there are two legitimate sides. On one hand, if I'm a smoker, it doesn't seem right to give me absolutely no place indoors to smoke. On the other hand, smoking does really smell up a room, and the College has a right to keep its dorms in the condition that it wants them in. 

What's your favorite restaurant in Amherst?

I'm always ordering from D.P. Dough, but when I'm out, Bertucci's is the way to go! Just outside of Amherst, I've been to a few, and by far my favorite is Bub's BBQ!

If you could be any animal, what would it be?

I've thought about this frequently, and I'd definitely be a squirrel. I like being at Amherst sans work, and skittering up and down trees just looks so fun. 

How do you deal with stress-e.g., during finals week?

Spoon Boy: Do not try and ace the final. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth.

Neo: What truth?

Spoon Boy: There is no final.

Neo: There is no final?

Spoon Boy: Then you will see that it is not the final that is aced, it is only yourself.

What's your favorite mode of transportation?

Well, by necessity, my current mode is a 1986 Crown Victoria. But quantum teleportation sounds pretty cool. 

What are your thoughts on planWorld?

I'm a complete plan addict. I'm usually disappointed in other people's plans, though. I like to write thoughts and feelings, maybe a funny story I heard or experienced. Give the fans what they want, you know? But then I'll check my friends' plans, and they'll have, "I went to the grocery store with !randomfriend:you! the other day." I think that what I write on my plan is thought-provoking for the most part. I'm sure it's useful, because I have a continually evolving "ways to get girls" list and a list where I review various types of cheeses. 

What's your favorite type of cheese?

It depends on what mood I'm in. When I'm hungry, I like Jarlsburg. Sometimes instead of going to Vals, I'll quantum teleport myself to the store and get a wedge of Jarlsburg and a loaf of bread. How long have you been looking forward to winter break?

I've actually been dreading winter break because so many of my close friends are going abroad next semester. Lately, though, my classes have been bogging me down. I think since about 10 minutes ago, I'm ready for this semester to end. Or to be turned into a squirrel.
