Greg Thielmann, former director of the Strategic, Proliferation and Military Affairs Office at the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence, will give a lecture entitled "The Bush Doctrine of Preventive War: Ruled Out by Intelligence." Thielmann will discuss the inside story of the Bush administration's preventive war doctrine and the Iraq weapons of mass destruction intelligence fiasco this afternoon. A discussion will follow the lecture. (Wed., Oct. 27 at 4 p.m., Gordon Hall Conference Room, UMass. No admission charge.)
