The Personals: Questions for Molly Malloy '10
By Louise Stevenson, Sports Editor
So it was really hard to get ahold of you ... why is that? Lose your cell phone lately?

Funny. No really, I was laughing so hard ... Haha don't forget I dropped it in the toilet first. Damn Luau.

What do you think of Amherst so far?

I've been having an amazing time. Classes haven't been too bad, but then again we're only about two days out of the shopping period. It could still get ugly.

What is your favorite part of Amherst? Or what have you enjoyed most so far?

The people here, without a doubt. Everyday I find out something new about the friends I've made so far; one of my favorite memories happened just the other night when I was taking some time off work with three friends in my dorm. Without any previous knowledge on the matter, we realized that all three of them played guitar and sang. We had about a two-hour sing-along session in the middle of the night. I loved it.

What is your favorite meal at Val? (Hint: meatballs)

We're supposed to have a favorite? At Val? Seriously? If you actually would like something substantial, the only thing I can say is that those Rice Krispie treats are damn good. Mmm.

What is your "go to" question for Never Have I Ever?

Well, it depends on whether the rules are if it's something you actually haven't done or not, and also if we're playing for drinks or not. But, if it's something I truly haven't done ... I'd say it's always funny to know who's given road head. What? I mean ... did I just tell you that? I'm sorry, I blacked out there for a second.

Also ... I definitely don't have a "go to" question. Kind of depends on the crowd. Nor do I really think any questions from that game are appropriate for a newspaper. Maybe I'm wrong? (Ed.: You're wrong.)

If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be and why?

I'd love to hang out with Dane Cook, go on an adventure with Steve Irwin, or sit down with Leonardo da Vinci. The first two I think are for somewhat obvious reasons, and da Vinci because he was an amazing artist and a man of incredible intellect. WHOA, alliteration. Didn't even mean to do that.

Crunk juice of choice.

I'm a beer girl, so I'd say an ice-cold Red Stripe. I do really enjoy a good piña colada or mudslide now and again though. Actually, pretty much any other frozen drink, in moderation of course.

Most embarrassing moment.

I once referred to an ambiguous "Pat" as a she several times in a five-minute conversation. Pat was right there, and he was not, after all, a she. I was mortified.

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?

Umm, what kind of question is that? Who would want to be a tree? But anyway, probably a Redwood ... they live in California and are extremely badass.

Where is your appendix?

Well, if it is a general "your," it's on the right side of your abdomen and grows down from about where your hip bone is. If the "your" is specific to me ... I hate you. Haha no, but it is MIA, probably in some lab in New Hampshire because of how large it was.

If you could be any of the Ninja Turtles, seven dwarves or Disney princesses, which one would you be and why?

Dopey, because he was definitely the coolest. He just liked to hang out all day and be ridiculous. Michelangelo, because he was always the one kicking back with a comic and the first to grab the pizza. He also had nunchucks. Nunchucks! I think I'd be Jasmine out of the princesses. She lived in this crazy castle, had a Bengal tiger for a pet, a magic carpet and a gigantic blue genie always hanging around. Who wouldn't want that?

Who is your favorite resident of Stone 202/204?

Um, I'm going to assume that that is your room, and I'm going to say you. You are, after all, doing a profile on me.
