You work for WAMH 89.3FM, the Amherst College radio station. What do you do, and what is your favorite perk of working at WAMH?
I am on the e-board and I'm a deejay. Occasionally, I make posters. I like opening the WAMH office with my special key and feeling important.
Hundreds of admitted students visited Amherst College this past weekend. Did you ever visit Amherst before attending school here?
Yes. A bunch of kids pranked my tour and ran around naked screaming something about reenacting Lord Jeff and the Indians. Someone threw a blanket out of a window.
What's your favorite restaurant in town?
Rao's. They have food, I swear. [I usually get] the raspberry oat muffin. It looks and sounds healthy, but it tastes like cake.
Which decade of the 20th century had the worst fashions? The best?
The 80s. The 80s.
What is your favorite Olympic sport to watch?
I don't know, but I like all of the winter sports. I think ice is just fun to watch. I like frozen water in all its many shapes and forms: powdery, ski-slope snow, ice-skating, ice sheets, snow-encrusted luge tracks … The fact that people are doing difficult things on them just adds that extra element of excitement.
What is your favorite spring sport?
Holding grass down with the weight of my body.
You have extensive dance experience. Have you performed recently, or do you have any upcoming performances?
I was recently in a performance at Mt. Holyoke and in a Cabaret that some friends and I put on at Marsh House. Also (shameless plug), on May 5 at 4 p.m. in Holden Theater, my choreography and performance class will be having a showing where you can see my first crack at modern dance choreography, as well as the lovely creations of my colleagues.

You currently live in Chapman House. Do you recommend living there?
I have a huge single with a bay window and this very pretentious deep red Spanish tile. Selena and I have a bathroom, common room and kitchen all to ourselves. There are three different roofs to hang out on. It is wicked sweet.
You're going abroad to the United Kingdom next year. What are your plans, and what will you study?
I'm going to U of Bristol, which I hear is a fabulous city with lots to do. I basically plan to experience big university life and bum around Europe in my spare time. I'm taking classes in immunology, microbiology and some other stuff.

"The History Boys." There just aren't enough movies out there portraying the poignancy of child molestation.

"Veggie Tales." Larry isn't even nutritious.

"Norwegian Wood" [by Haruki Murakami]. I would only recommend it if you can handle being mildly depressed for as long as it takes you to read it.
If you were a superhero, what would your ultimate weakness be?
My suit would be so gaudy, villains would be able to spot my neon tights from miles away. I would probably also be evil.
