Where are you from?

Chicago, Illinois (the actual city).

What do you miss about home?

I miss having a bed that isn’t five feet off of the ground, I miss snow that melts a day after the storm, and I miss my mommy.

What is your favorite card game?

Egyptian Ratscrew!

Why did you decide to come to Amherst College?

I liked how relaxed but still motivated the student body appeared to be.

What is your favorite food at Val?

Quesadillas made on the panini grill.

What is the strangest food you have ever tried?

Fried slices of pig ear.

What do you do to unwind?

I sleep. It’s a huge stress reliever.

You sing in Women’s Chorus and the Bluestockings. What has your favorite piece been so far?

My favorite piece in Women’s Chorus was “How Can I Keep From Singing?” and my favorite piece in Bluestockings was “Smoke and Ashes.”

What majors are you considering and why?

I am the epitome of undecidedness.

Do you have anything you would like to tell or ask the upperclassmen here?

Is it physically possible to go to sleep before 1 a.m.?

If you were a vegetable, what vegetable would you be? What noise would you make as this vegetable?

I would be an artichoke and I would communicate by saying my name repeatedly in different patterns and tones like a pokemon character.

Cats or Dogs?

I do not like animals (or small children).

Define the following word: “Badass”.

Anyone who can pull off wearing shorts in the winter without looking stupid is a badass.
