Webstie of the Week
By J. Robinson Mead, Opinions Editor
Looking for the hottest info from the set of "Star Wars, Episode 2: Attack of the Clones"? Interested in the untitled Bugs Bunny / Robin Williams flick? Rather than scouring the web for info from a whole host of films, Corona Productions compiles information on all popular franchises as well as more obscure, underpublicized films. Updated daily, Corona has information on projects before they're green-lighted by studios, while they're in production and after they're declared "dead." Of special interest are the films listed as "vaulted," projects that have been stalled for one reason or another by their studios. Corona is one of the Internet's best sources of information on "I Woke Up Early the Day I Died," a 1974 Ed Wood script, filmed in 1997 starring Billy Zane and Christina Ricci, but never released to theaters due to mismanagement by the film's distributor. "It is our feeling," Corona quotes the movie's now-defunct official website, "that this movie will not see another theatre and may not even make it to tape."
