Ask Doc Tyler
By Doc Tyler
Dear Doc Tyler,

I graduated from Amherst a long time ago. Most of my friends now have mortgages and PTA meetings; I'm more of a swinger than that. Anyway, I came back to school for Homecoming, and I misbehaved. A lot. Let's just say that I ended up "sleeping" in my old room from my freshman year. And some of my friends' old rooms. I suppose I didn't do anything illegal per se, but immoral is a different issue. You got the prescription for this one, Doc?

Dear Cradle-robbing,

It might be unethical to let my personal choices bias my advice, but I will say this anyway: I have never had a problem with age differences. Even with today's unfortunately stringent statutes, it is perfectly reasonable for someone, no matter how old, to do everything the law allows. At 80, the 18-year-old crowd still fit my bill (not to mention 14, 15, 16 and 17). As long as you're not breaking hearts or laws, don't stop working it.
