3:01 a.m., Pratt Dormitory

Officers investigated a duress alarm at Pratt.

3:16 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

Officers found a piece of equipment belonging to the Athletic Department in front of Crossett.

2:55 p.m., Stone Dormitory

A resident of Stone reported that personal property in his room had been damaged by someone.

11:42 p.m., North College

Officers investigated a duress alarm at North.

November 25, 2000

2:53 a.m., Moore Dormitory

A fire alarm activated at Moore when food was burned in the kitchen. Officers fined one student $100.

8:56 p.m., Seelye House

A second floor resident of Seelye reported that she discovered her room door ajar when she returned from break. The student found nothing missing from the room.

9:23 p.m., Seelye House

A third floor resident of Seelye reported a blanket, computer bag, backpack, two magazines and $50 in cash was stolen from her room.

9:23 p.m., Mayo-Smith House

Residents of a third floor room in Mayo-Smith reported that an Aiwa mini disk player and a pair of Stussy sunglasses had been stolen from their room. As other residents returned from break, additional items were discovered missing which include: a Compaq 1700T laptop computer, a blue The North Face jacket, a compact disk case containing 15 to 20 compact disks, a Patagonia fleece vest, a Sony mini disk player, a J. Crew blue peacoat style coat, a red and blue Nautica ski jacket and a green Ralph Lauren pullover rain jacket.

November 26, 2000

1:11 p.m., Davis Dormitory

A fire alarm activated at Davis due to smoke from candles in a second floor suite. Officers fined one resident $100 for the alarm and $100 for creating an endangering situation.

November 27, 2000

4:05 p.m., Humphries House

A fire alarm activated at Humphries due to food being burned in the kitchen. Officers fined residents $100.

10:28 p.m., James Hall

Officers investigated a duress alarm at James.

11:56 p.m., Newport House

A resident of Newport complained about loud music on the first floor.

November 28, 2000

1:34 p.m., Alumni Parking Lot

Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident which occurred in the Alumni parking lot.

5:56 p.m., Moore

Officers investigated a duress alarm at Moore.

7:18 p.m., Appleton Hall

Officers investigated a duress alarm at Appleton.

November 29, 2000

9:33 a.m., Mayo-Smith

A fire alarm activated at Mayo-Smith by a second floor detector for an unknown reason.

1:10 p.m., Taplin Dormitory

Officers checked on the well-being of a student in Taplin.

3:30 p.m., Coolidge Dormitory

A resident of Coolidge reported a tool pouch was stolen from his bicycle which was in the basement.

8:10 p.m., Snell Street

Officers assisted the Town Police at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Snell Street.

12:36 a.m., Marsh House

Officers investigated a duress alarm at Marsh.

1:57 a.m., Stone

Officers checked a suite at Stone after the Amherst Police reported receiving a 911 hang-up call from that location.
