Melissa R. Ginsberg '05, Niti Sardana '05 and Kate Stayman-London '05 are running for freshman College Council representative.
"What distinguishes me from most people is that I'm incredibly passionate," said Stayman-London. "If we're discussing something on the council that has meaning in the lives of students, I'm going to make sure it turns out right, not 70 percent right, 100 percent right."
"I have ideas that are really important to me," said Ginsberg. "I'm easily accessible and I have the experience and leadership skills to put these ideas into effect."
"I think I'm running on a good platform," said Sardana. "I'd like to work for longer open hours at Valentine, an off-campus/on-campus meal plan, getting gym equipment and kitchen appliances in the freshman dorms and finding more attractive job opportunities for people."
"I've spoken with people who are on the council this year, so I feel like I've gotten off to a good start," Sardana added.
The freshman class presidency is being sought by Theresa Borden '05, Ethan Davis '05, Elizabeth Dei Rossi '05, Ali Hassan '05, John D. Pourciau '05 and Christian L. Sanchez '05.
Jay R. Gilliam '04, Forogh Hakimzada '03, Bess Kargman '04 and Chris Palacios '04 are running for two spots on the Trustee Advisory Committee.
There are four candidates competing for three freshman senator-at-large positions: David Babbott '05, Esther H. Lim '05, Andrew D. Moin '05 and David Scherr '05.
Meredith Block '02 is running unopposed for a spot on the Disciplinary Committee.
