Campus Police dispatched an officer and ambulance to the Converse parking lot to assist an employee who had fallen.

5:12 p.m., Keefe Campus Center

A fire alarm activated in the Campus Center by a second-floor detector for an unknown reason.

6:42 p.m., Appleton Hall

An officer investigated a duress alarm in Appleton.

October 12, 2001

1:48 a.m., Mayo-Smith House

A resident of Mayo-Smith complained about a loud gathering and music on the first floor.

10:30 a.m., Converse Hall

Campus Police dispatched an officer and ambulance to Converse Hall to assist an ill employee.

12:00 p.m., Merrill Science Center

Officers investigated a burning odor at Merrill Science Center.

3:09 p.m.

A town resident reported the theft of shrubs from their front lawn.

7:06 p.m., Fitness center

Officers dispatched ACEMS to the fitness center to assist an injured student.

7:53 p.m., Morrow Dormitory

A resident of Morrow reported receiving a harassing telephone call.

11:10 p.m., North College

An officer investigated a duress alarm in North.

October 13, 2001

1:39 a.m., Campus Center

Officers found anti-war graffiti painted on and around the Campus Center. Similar writings were also found near Valentine, Merrill Science and on a College-owned vehicle.

10:22 a.m.

A professor delivered a mysterious envelope to Campus Police. The matter is under investigation.

11:06 a.m., Jenkins Dormitory

A fire alarm activated at Jenkins, due to steam from a shower.

3:13 p.m., Rugby field

Campus Police dispatched an officer and ambulance to the rugby field to assist an injured student.

7:40 p.m., Mayo-Smith

An officer patrolling near Mayo-Smith found a student in the parking lot with an unlicensed keg. The officer confiscated the keg and fined the student $100.

8:04 p.m., Milliken Dormitory

An officer patrolling near Milliken found a student with a keg in a car. The officer confiscated the unlicensed keg and fined the student $100. The officer also found another student with two unlicensed kegs in his car.

October 14, 2001

1:30 a.m., North

Officers responded to North to assist an intoxicated student.

1:49 a.m., Moore Dormitory

Officers responded to Moore to assist an intoxicated student.

2:21 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

Officers dispatched ACEMS to Crossett to assist an intoxicated student.

5:12 a.m., Stone Dormitory

Officers dispatched ACEMS to Stone to assist an injured student.

5:48 a.m., Moore

Officers found a light pole knocked over near Moore.

6:26 a.m., Valentine Hall

Officers received a report that the first-floor men's room at Valentine had been vandalized.

12:43 p.m., Valentine

A food service employee reported the theft of a utility trailer from the rear of Valentine Hall. Officers subsequently located the trailer in the Fayerweather parking lot.

3:14 p.m., Stone

A resident of Stone reported that a mini disc player and earphones were stolen from his unlocked room during a party.

5:50 p.m., Humphries House

A fire alarm activated in Humphires when food was burned in the kitchen. Officers fined residents $100.

October 15, 2001

11:09 a.m., Mayo-Smith

Officers found an unlicensed keg in the basement of Mayo-Smith. They confiscated the keg and fined a student $100.

2:24 p.m., Jenkins

Officers found electronic access equipment on an exterior door at Jenkins vandalized.

October 16, 2001

11:08 a.m., Stearns Hall

Officers found electronic access equipment on an exterior door at Stearns smashed.

October 17, 2001

3:00 p.m., Johnson Chapel

Officers found stickers on three doors in Johnson Chapel vandalized.

8:32 p.m., Campus Center

Officers responded to the Campus Center to investigate the reported odor of gas.

October 18, 2001

1:54 a.m., Stearns

An officer patrolling near Stearns observed several students run from a bench near the building. Upon further investigation, the officer found a "bong" near the bench that appeared to contain marijuana residue.
