An officer responded to a report that a bicycle rack was dragged a distance from its proper location.

1:40 a.m., Route 9

Campus Police investigated a motor vehicle accident on Route 9 near a campus entrance.

2:46 a.m., Physical Plant

Officers stopped several students who were attempting to jump on a passing train near the building.

11:50 a.m., Alumni Gym

A student reported the theft of a Sony walkman from a locker.

2:10 p.m., Hills Parking Lot

A student reported that his vehicle was "keyed" and its that antenna broken.

3:07 p.m., Hills Parking Lot

A student reported that her vehicle was scratched.

7:01 p.m., Valentine Hall

A student reported the theft of a backpack from the coat room.

November 17, 2001

2:44 a.m., Stearns Hall

Officers dispatched ACEMS and an ambulance to Stearns for a medical emergency.

8:34 a.m., Seelye House

Two residents reported that their keys were stolen from the door locks.

12:31 a.m., Moore Dormitory

An officer responded to a complaint of loud people running around the third-floor hall.

11:40 a.m., Johnson Chapel

Officers and the Town Fire Department assisted people stuck in the elevator in Johnson Chapel.

12:42 p.m., Hamilton House

Officers found a smoke detector that had been covered in a third-floor room. They fined the residents $100.

Officer dispatched an officer to investigate possible illegal entry.

November 21, 2001

9:30 a.m., Mead Art Museum

Workmen accidentally activated a fire alarm.

5:50 p.m., Alumni Gym

An officer responded to a report of several youths loitering around the building.

5:35 a.m., Stone Dormitory

Officers investigated a "hang-up" call on the emergency line which originated from a room in Stone.

12:20 p.m., Keefe Campus Center

A Campus Center employee reported possible unauthorized entry into an office.

November 26, 2001

9:54 a.m., Fayerweather Hall

Officers and an ambulance responded to a medical emergency.

November 27, 2001

3:20 a.m., Physical Plant

ACEMS was dispatched to the Campus Police office to assist an ill student who walked in.

9:09 a.m., Alumni Gym

Officers received a report of vandalism reported in the area around the gym and admissions. Signs were knocked over and a picnic table overturned.

November 29, 2001

2:40 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

Officers responded to a noise complaint for the third floor.

2:45 a.m., Valentine

Officers responded to a complaint of people yelling in the hall on the second floor.

November 30, 2001

12:10 a.m., Stone

Officers responded to a complaint of loud music in a first-floor suite.

1:08 a.m., Davis Dormitory

Marijuana smoke in a second-floor suite in Davis activated a fire alarm. Residents were fined $100.

3:10 p.m., James Hall

An officer responded to a lockout request at James and confiscated a bottle of alcohol that was in plain view.

5:46 p.m., Tennis Courts

An officer investigated a vehicle driving around the athletic field near the tennis courts.

6:47 p.m., Johnson Chapel

An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident near Johnson Chapel.

8:45 p.m., Alumni Gym

Party monitors working at a concert confiscated two pipes and a small amount of marijuana at the door.

December 1, 2001

12:02 a.m., Campus Center

Officers responded to a report of a fight in front of the Campus Center. Involved persons could not be located.

3:08 a.m., Moore

A resident reported what sounded like someone throwing something between Moore and Valentine. Nothing unusual was found when officers checked.

3:18 a.m., Moore

Officers responded to a noise complaint on the second floor of Moore.

3:36 a.m., Campus Center

Officers dispatched ACEMS and an ambulance to the Campus Center to assist an intoxicated female.

1:46 p.m., Mayo-Smith House

An officer found a discharged fire extinguisher in the basement of Mayo-Smith. Residents were fined $100.

8:06 p.m., Seelye

Officer responded to a report of a bat on the second floor of Seelye.

9:35 p.m., South East Street

Officers investigated a number of students who were at an abandoned College-owned house on South East Street.

9:59 p.m., Moore

Officer responded to a noise complaint for the third floor of Moore. A second complaint was received at 11:58 p.m.

December 2, 2001

12:01 a.m., Davis

Campus Police dispatched an ambulance to Davis to assist an intoxicated student.

12:27 a.m., South College

Officers investigated a duress alarm.

1:34 a.m., Hamilton

Campus Police dispatched an ambulance to Hamilton to assist an intoxicated student.

2:01 a.m., Hamilton

A resident of Hamilton reported that his keys were stolen from his doorknob. At 4:30 a.m., the student reported that his keys had been returned.

3:25 a.m., Crossett

An officer investigated an access door alarm and discovered that someone had vandalized the wiring to one door. Residents were fined $100 plus the cost of repair.
