4:45 a.m., Pond Dormitory

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS and an ambulance to assist an intoxicated Mount Holyoke College student.

12:20 p.m.

Mount Holyoke College Security reported information about a possible assault at Amherst College. The matter is under investigation.

10:01 p.m., Davis Dormitory

A smoke detector activated a fire alarm for an undetermined reason.

December 3, 2001

5:38 p.m., Newport House

Cooking smoke activated a fire alarm. Residents received a $100 fine.

December 5, 2001

7:15 a.m., Keefe Campus Center

Officers investigated a suspicious package received at the Campus Center.

3:20 p.m., Merrill Apartments

An employee reported her vehicle was "keyed" while parked at the faculty apartments.

7:00 p.m

Campus police assisted Hanover, N.H. police with an investigation.

December 6, 2001

2:16 a.m., Pond

Officers responding to a noise complaint shut down a party and confiscated an unlicensed keg. Four students were fined $25 each.

3:21 a.m., Milliken Dormitory

A resident complained about loud people outside the building.

2:25 p.m.

An employee reported the theft of a birdbath from outside a College-owned house.

December 7, 2001

11:00 a.m., Campus Center

Campus Police apprehended a student who was in the act of stealing money from an office at the Campus Center.

9:16 p.m., Pratt Dormitory

Officers checked on a 911 "hang up" call, which originated from a student's room at Pratt.

December 8, 2001

1:53 a.m., Stearns Hall

Campus police dispatched ACEMS to Stearns to assist an intoxicated student.

2:06 a.m., Mayo Smith House

A resident of Mayo Smith complained about noise outside the building.

2:45 a.m., James Hall

Campus police dispatched ACEMS to James to assist an intoxicated student.

5:52 a.m., Plimpton House

A resident of Plimpton complained about loud music on the second floor. Additional complaints were received at 7:20 a.m. and 8:09 a.m. Officers discovered two unlicensed kegs on the final call and assessed a $200 fine.
