Officers stopped two students who were attempting to jump on a passing train.

2:00 a.m., Coolidge Dormitory

A caller reported a possible drunk driver near Coolidge.

8:00 a.m., Coolidge

Residents of Coolidge reported an unfamiliar substance found on the door knobs in their suite.

8:23 a.m., Mead Art Museum

An officer investigated a report of a man loitering outside of Mead.

10:47 a.m., Converse Hall

An officer responded to a distress call from someone trapped in the elevator in Converse.

1:00 p.m.

A student reported an act of harassment that occurred on a PVTA bus.

4:09 a.m., Hamilton House

An officer investigated a duress alarm at Hamilton.

December 21, 2001

9:36 a.m., Cohan Dormitory

An officer checked on the well being of a resident of Cohan.

3:30 a.m., Athletic fields

Campus Police received a complaint about a dog near the athletic fields.

2:21 p.m., Orr Rink

An officer investigated a 911 "hang-up" call from Orr Rink.

2:41 p.m., Merrill Science Center

Campus Police dispatched an officer and an ambulance to Merrill to assist a person experiencing chest pain.

5:16 p.m., Alumni Gym

An officer evicted approximately 12 people as the facility was closed.

9:42 p.m., Alumni Gym

Officers investigated a report of a man loitering in front of Alumni Gym.

January 6, 2002

12:45 p.m., Converse

An officer investigated an individual who was trapped in an elevator.

January 7, 2002

2:10 a.m.

Three vehicles were towed from the main campus for being parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

7:32 p.m., Pond Dormitory

An officer investigated a report of a possible unauthorized entry into a student's room in Pond.

January 11, 2002

4:47 p.m., Stearns

An officer at Stearns responding to a lock-out call confiscated several bottles of alcohol from a student's room.

January 12, 2002

4:40 p.m., The Octagon

An officer investigated an individual who was observed on the roof of The Octagon.

10:20 p.m., LeFrak Gym

Officers intervened in a physical altercation that erupted during a basketball game in LeFrak.

January 13, 2002

2:05 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

A resident of Crossett complained about loud music in the dorm. Officers spoke with students in two different suites.

9:45 a.m., Alumni Lot

A student reported her vehicle was vandalized while parked in the Alumni Lot. Someone damaged the wiper blade. Another student also reported the side mirror on his vehicle was damaged.

8:20 a.m., Fayerweather Hall

An officer and ambulance were dispatched to Fayerweather to assist an injured workman.

January 15, 2002

5:46 p.m., Taplin Dormitory

Steam from a shower activated a fire alarm at Taplin.

January 16, 2002

2:35 a.m., Milliken Dormitory

Officers responded to a loud music complaint at Milliken.

1:22 p.m.

A student reported the theft of a Dell laptop computer from his unlocked room.

January 17, 2002

11:13 a.m., Pratt Field

Officers found a lock pried open on a storage shed at Pratt Field.

3:15 p.m.

An officer responded to the area between Valentine and Moore to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

January 19, 2002

12:42 a.m., Hamilton

Officers dispatched ACEMS and an ambulance to Hamilton to assist an intoxicated student.

10:09 a.m., Plimpton House

An officer found a keg of beer in a third-floor restroom at Plimpton. Residents were fined $100.

2:41 p.m., Valentine Hall

Steam from a shower activated a fire alarm at Valentine.
