Officers on patrol observed someone driving a vehicle inside the quad. Officers stopped the vehicle and found an unlicensed keg in the car. They fined one student $100.

A resident complained about loud music coming from the third floor of Pond.

A pizza delivery person from Bruno's reported the theft of a pizza bag and two pizzas from his car which was parked near Valentine Hall.

Campus Police received a noise complaint for a party. They notified party monitors.

Party monitors requested assistance in clearing people from a party.

An employee reported finding a broken window.

6:45 p.m., Schwemm's Coffee House
An employee reported that a cooler containing soft drinks was found pried open and approximately $150 worth of drinks were missing.

A resident reported the theft of $150 cash from her dresser.

Marijuana smoke activated a fire alarm in a second floor suite. Officers fined residents $100.

Officers responded to a report of an unauthorized party. They confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined one student $100.

Officers responded to a noise complaint.

Officers found an exit sign vandalized in the basement.

A student reported the theft of electronic equipment from the common room. The items were property of WAMH.

Officers responded to a complaint of loud people on the first floor.

12:17 p.m., Arms Music Center
Officers responded to a report of a man acting in a suspicious manner. They escorted the man off campus. He returned later in the day and was taken by ambulance to a medical facility.

8:10 p.m., Hamilton House
An officer responded to Hamilton to investigate a duress alarm.

Officers dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

2:30 a.m., Merill
Campus Police dispatched officers and an ambulance to assist an injured workman.

4:24 p.m., Octagon
An officer responded to a report of a number of people on the roof of the Octagon.

7:10 p.m., Hitchcock
A fire alarm activated when an unattended pan on the stove began to smoke. Officers fined one student $100.

Campus Police and an officer from Environmental Health and Safety responded to a petroleum spill in front of Converse Hall.

A fire alarm activated when food was burned in the kitchen. Officers fined one student $100.

March 21, 2002
10:00 a.m.
An employee residing in a College-owned house off-campus reported an unfamiliar intoxicated man ringing their door bell. Campus Police notified Amherst Police.

3:56 p.m., Williston Hall
Officers responded to a report of an older unfamiliar woman acting in an unusual manner.

7:16 p.m., Porter House
Officer responded to a report of a sick squirrel behind Porter.

March 23, 2002
4:19 a.m., Railroad Tracks
An officer noticed someone operating a vehicle on the railroad tracks near the Hills parking lot. Campus Police notified the railroad and the Amherst Police. The man was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol.

7:40 p.m.
A student operating a College-owned van reported damage to the vehicle.

A resident reported an older unfamiliar man in the building. Officers discovered the man was a student's parent.

4:57 p.m., Stearns Hall
Officers responded to a medical call.

6:03 p.m., Valentine
Officers checked on the well being of a student at Valentine as a result of a call from the student's parent.

8:18 p.m., Stone
An officer investigated a duress alarm.

11:56 p.m., Stearns
An officer responded to a medical call.
