2:11 a.m., Jenkins Dormitory: Burning popcorn activated a fire alarm in a second-floor suite. Officers fined the residents $100 for the alarm and $100 for tampering with fire equipment. They also fined three students $100 each for failing to evacuate during the alarm.

2:39 a.m., Valentine Hall: Campus police dispatched ACEMS and an ambulance to the second floor to assist an intoxicated student.

3:17 a.m., James Hall: An officer responded to a complaint about loud music on the third floor.

3:35 a.m., Hamilton House: An officer at Hamilton found a keg in the common room. Residents were fined $100.

12:52 p.m., Moore Dormitory: Burning food activated a fourth-floor fire alarm. Officers fined three students $33 each for the alarm.

6:12 p.m., North College: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

7:47 p.m., Plimpton House: A fire alarm activated at Plimpton from what appeared to be excessive cigarette smoke on the third floor. Officers fined residents $100.

9:39 p.m., Hitchcock House: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist a student that was having an adverse reaction to a bee sting.

5:06 a.m., Cohan Dormitory: Campus police dispatched ACEMS and an officer to assist an intoxicated student.

September 11, 2001

2:05 a.m., Plaza: An officer on patrol encountered a student with alcohol near the Plaza. The officer confiscated the alcohol as the student was underage.

2:06 a.m., Moore: Burning popcorn activated a fire alarm on the second floor. Officers fined residents $100.

4:57 a.m., Garman House: An officer responded to a noise complaint and determined noise was coming from people on the town common.

1:11 p.m., Seligman House: An employee reported a vacuum cleaner missing from a closet at Seligman.

3:30 p.m.: An employee reported information about a possible violation of a protective order.

10:19 p.m., Appleton Hall: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

September 12, 2002

3:29p.m., Valentine: Campus police dispatched an officer dispatched to a medical emergency in the kitchen in Valentine.

10:53 p.m., Pratt Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint of a violation of the smoking policy on the third floor.

11:29 p.m., Seligman: A resident reported that a group of people walked by the house and made harassing comments to house residents. The group could not be located when an officer investigated.

September 13, 2002

1:53 a.m., Moore: An officer responded to a noise complaint for the second floor.

2:25 a.m., Barrett Hall: Officer responded to a report of a woman passed out near the building. The officer found no one when the officer checked.

1:10 p.m., Converse Lot: An employee reported finding her vehicle scratched while it was parked.

3:20 p.m.: Campus police received a call from Nichols College security regarding a missing Nichols student.

6:35 p.m., Jenkins: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

September 14, 2002

1:10 a.m., Mayo-Smith House: An officer discovered an unlicensed keg in the common room. The officer fined residents $100.

1:14 a.m., Seligman: A town resident complained about loud music. The lead party monitor was notified.

1:38 a.m., Stearns Hall: An officer responded to a loud music complaint on the third floor.

2:44 a.m., Seelye House: An officer at Seelye House discovered an unlicensed keg in a common room. The officer fined residents $100.

12:35 p.m., Fayerweather Lot: An employee reported he found the windshield cracked on his car while it was parked.

3:15 p.m., Frost Library: An employee reported a student left the building with two chair cushions. An officer went to the student's room and retrieved the cushions. Campus police referred the matter to the Dean's office.

8:24 p.m., Davis Dormitory: An officer passing through the basement discovered an unlicensed keg. The officer fined one student $100.

10:04 p.m., Stearns: Officers responded to a report of an illegal party in the basement of the building. The officers confiscated some alcohol and cleared everyone from the room.

11:34 p.m., Hitchcock: Amherst Police reported receiving a noise complaint for a party. Campus police notified the lead party monitor. They received a second complaint at 12:06 a.m. from a town resident and another call from the Amherst Police at 12:43 a.m. about complaints they received. Officers shut down the party.

1:39 a.m., Stone Dormitory: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist a student who suffered a laceration to his hand.

September 15, 2002

2:34 a.m., Waldorf-Astoria: A resident of the Waldorf-Astoria reported that two women and a man ran down the hall and ripped the dry erase boards from the wall.

3:49 a.m., Crossett Dormitory: An officer confiscated two unlicensed kegs from a first-floor suite and fined two students $100 each. The officer also observed a broken window.

5:50 a.m., Jenkins: An officer responded to Jenkins where a student reported that his girlfriend had been drinking and that he was unable to find her. The officer checked the area and found the woman on the ground nearby. The woman did not need any medical attention.
