Little Red School House turns sixty-five
By Greta Bradlee, News Editor
Approximately 100 people gathered on Saturday in a tent outside of the Little Red School House, the preschool in the middle of the Social Quad, to celebrate the school's 65th anniversary.

"We had a terrific turnout," said Therese Ross, director of the Little Red School House. "Everyone was pleased to be back to see old friends."

Current and former students, families and teachers enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and also a cake in the shape of the Little Red School House. The Zumbyes entertained the crowd with an a cappella concert, and Professor of History John Servos, whose child is a former student of the school, gave a brief speech.

According to Ross, some of the guests attended or taught at the Little Red School House in the 1960s. One family in attendance had sent five children to the school, the most ever by a single family.
