4:45 p.m., Converse Hall: An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident in front of the building.
10:37 p.m., Stone Dormitory: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist a student who accidentally cut himself.

2:15 p.m., Memorial Hill: A student reported that his wallet was stolen when he left some of his personal belongings unattended for a while at the base of the hill.
2:25 p.m., Physical Plant; Campus police gave medical assistance to a student who was feeling faint after giving blood at the blood drive.
2:40 p.m., Humphries House: A resident reported the theft of a red bicycle.
3:48 p.m., Keefe Campus Center: Officers investigated an accident near the Campus Center where a motorist struck a bicyclist.
7:26 p.m., Emily Dickinson House: An officer responded to the house where it was reported that an unknown female was refusing to leave the veranda. She left at the officers direction.

1:31 a.m., Crossett Dormitory: Officers responded to a loud music complaint for a third-floor suite.
3:55 a.m., Valentine Hall: A detector in a vent hood in the dining services area activated a fire alarm.
8:25 p.m., Seelye House: An officer investigated an incidence of vandalism. Someone had uprooted a nearby parking meter and dragged it to the third floor and then back to where it was taken from. A bench on the east side of the building was overturned and seven rolls of toilet paper were strewn around the third floor bathroom.
9:44 a.m., Converse: An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident near the bus stop.
October 4, 2002
2:34 a.m., Campus Center: A pizza delivery person reported that a male jumped on her car and caused a dent while she was driving past the Campus Center.
3:15 a.m., Seelye: A resident reported pounding coming from the floor above. The officer who checked found nothing unusual.
10:10 a.m., Arms Music Center: An employee reported that the side mirror on his vehicle was broken off while it was parked near the building.
10:42 p.m., Morrow Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint of someone discharging fireworks near Morrow. The officer found no such activity when he checked the area but he did discover and shut down an unauthorized party on the second floor of Valentine and confiscated some alcohol confiscated.

2:07 a.m., Davis Dormitory: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist a student who was suffering an allergic reaction.
3:27 a.m., Stearns Hall: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured student.
9:32 p.m., Porter House: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured student.
October 6, 2002
1:43 a.m., Davis: An officer on patrol in the social dorm area heard the sound of breaking glass coming from Davis. The officer found a student who claimed that he accidentally fell against the window. He will be charged for the repair.
3:03 a.m., James Hall: An officer responded to a loud music complaint on the third floor.
<>4:41 a.m., Davis: An officer found two kegs in the basement. The officer fined two students $100 each for the unlicensed kegs.
9:30 a.m., Valentine: Staff notified an officer that three UMass students entered the dining hall to eat and refused to pay. The officer spoke with them and they paid.
10:08 a.m., Coolidge Dormitory: An officer responded to a report of a keg in the basement of Coolidge. The residents were fined $100.
5:53 p.m., Valentine: An officer responded to a report of three youths about 12 years old who were harassing students as they entered and left Valentine Hall. The youths fled as the officer approached them.
October 7, 2002
12:21 a.m., Garman House: Campus police dispatched an officer to a second-floor room after a dispatcher received a call from that room and no one spoke. The officer found no problem.
8:36 a.m., Valentine: An officer investigated a duress alarm.
12:45 p.m., Media Center: Staff reported a Videonics video mixer and a Sony Edit controller were stolen from the Media Center sometime over the weekend. Also reported stolen was a EIKI video projection which was used by a summer program group.
2:46 p.m., Admissions Office: An employee reported the theft of a watch from a desk drawer. The watch is valued at $50.
October 8, 2002
1:33 a.m., O'Connell Parking Lot: A student reported a man sitting in a car in the lot. An officer checked and found that the man's car had broken down and he was waiting for a tow truck.
2:40 a.m., Moore Dormitory: An officer responded to a noise complaint for the first floor.
6:40 a.m., Webster Circle: A student-owned vehicle was found damaged when a dumpster rolled or was pushed into the vehicle.
