12:19 a.m., Garman House: An officer on patrol found a student carrying a fire extinguisher and fined him $100.

2:25 a.m., Mayo-Smith House: An officer confiscated some alcohol that was left unattended in the common room.

9:41 p.m., Morrow Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint of marijuana smoke on the first floor. The officer detected a faint odor but could not determine its origin.

November 13, 2002

2:55 a.m., Pratt Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint of fireworks and found no activity.

11:03 a.m., The Waldorf-Astoria: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

12:15 p.m., Pond Dormitory: Residents activated a fire alarm by burning incense in a first-floor suite. Officers fined residents $100.

12:20 a.m., Crossett Dormitory: An officer found an unlicensed keg near the road entrance. The officer fined residents $100.

11:46 p.m., Valentine Hall: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

November 14, 2002

1:23 a.m., Hitchcock House: Officers responded to a complaint of an unauthorized party. Officers called Amherst police for assistance in clearing out a large gathering after people became uncooperative. Officers fined one student $100 for having an unlicensed keg on the premises.

3:58 a.m.: Campus police dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

7:27 a.m., Frost Library: Campus police escorted a man off the grounds. The man had earlier attempted to gain access to the employee entrance of Valentine Hall.

4:11 p.m., Pond: Food burning in a microwave oven activated a fire alarm. Officers confiscated the oven and fined the student $100.

4:34 p.m., Pratt Field: A visitor reported the theft of a brown insulated cooler.

6:57 p.m., Crossett: Officers discovered an unlicensed keg in a first-floor suite and fined one student $100.
