2:04 a.m., James Hall: Officers responded to a complaint of a group of men carrying a keg around the building. Officers confiscated the keg and fined residents $200.

3:00 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed four vehicles parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

February 20, 2003

2:04 a.m., Stearns Hall: Officers responded to a complaint of loud music on the fourth floor.

2:12 a.m., Stone Dormitory: Officers responded to a complaint of loud people in a third-floor room.

3:25 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed two vehicles parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

6:01 p.m., Coolidge Dormitory: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

1:25 a.m., Mayo-Smith House: An unidentified person pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason, activating a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100.

2:39 a.m., Morrow Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint that someone was burning incense on the third floor.

2:49 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed a vehicle parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

2:59 a.m., Seligman House: Officers responded to a complaint of loud people on the first floor.

3:25 a.m., Mayo-Smith: An officer responded to a noise complaint and confiscated an unlicensed keg.

1:29 a.m., Keefe Campus Center: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female walking and falling down.

1:32 a.m., Pond Dormitory: Officers responded to a noise complaint in a first-floor suite. Officers returned after receiving a second call at 2:35 a.m. and ordered all non-residents to leave the suite.

1:43 a.m., Seelye House: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

3:20 a.m., Crossett Dormitory: Officers responded to a complaint of loud music.

5:47 a.m., Davis Dormitory: A resident complained of non-residents passing through her suite.

1:30 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a noise complaint on the second floor and confiscated alcohol.

1:42 a.m., Stearns: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

2:22 a.m., Davis: Officers responded to a noise complaint for a first-floor suite and confiscated two kegs.

9:00 a.m., Moore: An officer and an ambulance responded to a report of employee having difficulty breathing.

11:37 a.m., Mead Art Museum: An employee reported the theft of a TV remote.

4:50 a.m., Moore: A resident reported the theft of video games and related equipment from his room.

6:00 p.m., Davis: Residents reported ongoing problems with unauthorized entry into their suite by other students.

8:35 p.m., Tyler House: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

February 26, 2003

1:12 a.m., James: Officers responded to a noise complaint on the fourth floor. They broke up a small party and confiscated some alcohol.

1:20 a.m., Seelye: An officer responded to a noise complaint for the first floor.

February 27, 2003

2:57 a.m., Stone: Officers responded to a report of a fight in front of the building.

2:51 p.m., Morrow: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

February 28, 2003

2:28 a.m., Davis: Officers responded to a noise complaint regarding a first-floor suite.

3:00 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed three vehicles parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

9:47 a.m., Barrett Hall: An employee reported observing a hit-and-run accident outside. On Seelye Street, Campus Police stopped the vehicle that left the scene and identified the operator.

10:36 p.m., Appleton Hall: An officer making rounds on the second floor found students with alcoholic beverages in the hall. The officer disposed of the alcohol.

March 1, 2003

1:39 a.m., Davis: An officer found a group of students in the basement with an unlicensed keg. The officer fined residents $100.

2:39 a.m., Morrow: An officer arrived to assist a student who suffered a hand injury.

3:46 a.m., Stearns: A resident reported a group of students running up and down the hall causing a disturbance.

3:57 a.m., Appleton: Campus Police dispatched an officer to assist a student who suffered a hand injury.

5:01 p.m., Taplin Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint of unwanted people in a first-floor suite.

9:14 p.m., Davis: Amherst Town Police reported stopping a student walking with an unlicensed keg outside the building. Town Police confiscated the keg and issued a $200 citation to the student.

11:08 p.m., Morrow: Someone pulled an alarm station on the first floor for no apparent reason, activating the fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100. Officers also found a smoke detector disconnected in a first floor room. Officers fined residents $50 each for tampering with the detector.

11:19 p.m., The Triangle: Officers responded to the area after a town resident made a noise complaint.

March 2, 2003

12:32 a.m., Mayo-Smith: Officers responded to a complaint of unruly students in the parking lot.

12:48 a.m., Hitchcock House: Officers in the area found an unauthorized party in the common room. Officers confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined residents $100.

1:12 a.m., Webster Circle: A student reported someone passed out in a snow bank. The caller called back and reported the person got up and left the area. Officers responded to the scene but did not find anyone.

1:30 a.m., Keefe Campus Center:A Hampshire College student reported his wallet was stolen from his coat pocket.

2:40 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed sixteen cars parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

11:12 a.m., Seelye Mudd A computer monitor malfunction caused smoke and activated the fire alarm.

Mayo-Smith House: An officer at confiscated an unlicensed keg from the second floor hall.

10:36 p.m., Hamilton House:An officer confiscated an unlicensed keg from the basement. The officer fined residents $100.

March 3, 2003

2:03 a.m., Hamilton: An officer responded to a loud music complaint for the second floor.

3:41 p.m., Merrill Lot: An employee reported a minor motor vehicle accident.

6:02 p.m., Valentine Hall: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist a student who had fallen .

2:22 a.m., Newport House: A resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls.
