2:30 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed three vehicles for being parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

4:04 p.m., Frost Library: An officer responded to a complaint of skateboarders.

6:29 p.m., Fayerweather Hall: An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident.

March 26, 2003

2:42 p.m., Converse Hall: An officer responded to a fire in a trash barrel near the building.

12:53 a.m., James Hall: An officer responded to a noise complaint on the first floor.

1:54 a.m., South College: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

1:54 a.m., James: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

9:26 p.m., Valentine Hall: Steam from a shower on the second floor activated a fire alarm.

March 27, 2003

11:17 p.m., Seligman House: Officers responded to a loud noise complaint and underage drinking. Officers returned at 12:27 a.m. to respond to a second complaint.

March 28, 2003

12:21 a.m., Yushien Japanese: Garden

An officer encountered several students who appeared to be smoking marijuana. All of the students fled except one, who was identified. The officer referred the incident to the Dean's office.

2:27 a.m., Humphries House: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party.

11:38 a.m., Marsh House: An officer responded to a town resident's complaint about a loud party.

March 30, 2003

2:18 a.m., Seelye House: Excessive cigarette smoke on the second floor activated a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100. Officers fined one student $100 for being on the roof and $100 for failing to evacuate the building. Officers fined another student was fined $100 for failing to evacuate.

3:03 a.m., Moore Dormitory: An officer responded to a duress alarm and found a non-student discharging a fire extinguisher. The officers took the youth, who was intoxicated, into custody and brought him to the Campus Police office where a parent came to pick him up.

March 31, 2003

12:38 p.m., Physical Plant: Campus Police towed a vehicle blocking access to a road.

2:06 p.m., Jenkins Dormitory: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

April 2, 2003

5:35 p.m., The Plaza: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

9:25 p.m., Tyler House: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

April 3, 2003

1:32 a.m., Seelye: Officers responded to a noise complaint in the common room.

April 4, 2003

12:44 a.m., Pond Dormitory: An officer responded to a report of a student vomiting in the basement and in need of assistance. The officer was unable to locate the student upon arrival. Officers also shut down a large unauthorized party that was in progress.

1:12 a.m., Valentine Hall: Officers responded to a complaint about a large gathering on the second floor.

1:13 a.m., Stone Dormitory: Officers responding to a noise complaint found a large, unauthorized party in a first-floor suite. When students were unresponsive to officers' request to disperse, officers called the Amherst Police for assistance. The officers confiscated one unlicensed keg and fined the room group $100.

2:20 a.m., Seligman: Officers responded to a noise complaint.

2:56 a.m., Davis Dormitory: Officers responded to a noise complaint regarding a second-floor suite.

1:03 p.m., Stone: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

9:05 p.m., Merrill Science Center: Officers responded to a report of a man lying in the road. They found an intoxicated student who needed medical attention and called an ambulance.

April 5, 2003

12:44 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a report of loud people and people smoking on the second floor.

1:07 a.m., Stone: Officers responded to a report of loud music in the basement. No one was in the basement but a stereo was playing loudly. Officers confiscated approximately ten bottles of hard alcohol.

1:21 a.m., Seelye: Officers responded to a complaint about a loud party in the common room.

2:06 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a complaint about loud music on the fourth floor.

7:37 a.m., Valentine: A food service employee reported damage to a window that appeared to have been caused by forced entry.

10:13 a.m., Wilson Admissions Center: An employee reported a minor motor vehicle accident near the building.

2:16 p.m., Moore: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

3:20 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium: Officers responded to a complaint of unauthorized people in the gym.

7:58 p.m., Moore: An officer responded to an activated fire alarm caused by smoke from cooking in the kitchen. The officer fined residents $100.

April 6, 2003

1:09 a.m., Hills Parking Lot: An officer discovered a student discharging fireworks in the parking lot and confiscated the fireworks, which are illegal in Massachusetts, and fined the student $100.

1:26 a.m., Hitchcock House: An unidentified person pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason, activating a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100.

1:59 a.m., Davis: Officers responded to a noise complaint in a first floor suite.

:53 a.m., Jenkins: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

7:23 a.m., PVTA Bus Stop: An officer assisted officers from the Amherst Police department with a motor vehicle accident.

3:26 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium: Campus Police dispatched an officer and an ambulance to the training room to assist an ill visitor.

11:59 p.m., Waldorf-Astoria: An officer responded to a loud music complaint.

1:01 p.m., Morrow Dormitory: An officer checked on the well-being of a student on request.

April 9, 2003

12:15 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a complaint of an unauthorized party and confiscated some alcohol.

11:40 p.m., Hitchcock: Officers responded to a report of a fight.

April 11, 2003

2:09 a.m., Stone: Officers responded to a noise complaint at a third floor suite.

4:51 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated student.
