9:05 a.m., Chapin Hall: An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident. The officer called an ambulance after finding an injured person.

10:14 a.m., Seelye House:Contractors accidentally activated a fire alarm.

August 24, 2003

12:01 a.m., Hitchcock House: Amherst Police reported a complaint of loud music. Officers checked the area but did not hear loud music.

2:30 a.m., Route 9: Officers stopped several people who were disrupting traffic control materials.

11:16 p.m., Stearns Dormitory: An officer checking on a smoke detector problem confiscated a bottle of alcohol from a student on the first floor.

2:10 a.m., Orr Rink: An officer checked on a male found sleeping in a car.

August 26, 2003

2:28 a.m., Marsh House: An apparent malfunction activated a fire alarm.

12:08 a.m., Seelye: An officer discovered an unlicensed keg in the common room and fined residents $100.

August 27, 2003

10:30 a.m., Moore Dormitory: A contractor reported a confrontation with union picketers which resulted in damage to his vehicle.

August 28, 2003

7:38 p.m., Morrow Dormitory: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

8:28 p.m., Pratt Dormitory: An officer discovered several students with alcohol on the third floor  and confiscated it.

August 29, 2003

12:07 a.m., Crossett Dormitory: An officer responded to the basement to assist two intoxicated students. The officer confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined residents $100.

9:47 a.m., Valentine Hall: An officer responded to a medical emergency.

3:01 p.m., Leland House: A resident reported the theft of a chair from storage.

11:46 p.m., Crossett: An officer responded to a noise complaint regarding a first-floor suite. The officer confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined the resident $100.

August 30, 2003

12:23 a.m., Moore: An officer responded to a loud party complaint on the second floor.

2:47 p.m., Hamilton House: A resident reported the theft of a laptop computer from the second floor.

7:30 p.m., Crossett: An officer responded to a noise complaint regarding a third-floor suite. Campus Police received a second complaint at 11:39 p.m. and dispatched another officer.

8:11 p.m., Moore: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

11:21 p.m., Hamilton: An officer discovered an unauthorized party in the common room.  The officer confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined residents $100.

August 31, 2003

1:13 a.m., James Dormitory: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

3:55 a.m., Stone Dormitory: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

8:42 a.m., Pond Dormitory: A resident reported the theft of $1,200 from his room.

4:25 p.m., Crossett: A caller reported someone shooting a paint ball gun. No one was present when an officer checked.
