1:23 a.m., Hitchcock House

Officers responded to a noise complaint. Campus Police received a second complaint at 1:57 a.m. Officers returned and directed all non-residents to leave the house.

11:36 a.m., Newport House

A resident reported the theft of a Cannondale mountain bike. The resident stated the bike is worth $500 and has serial number NB00620.

October 18, 2003

12:15 a.m., Marsh House

Campus Police dispatched an officer after a town resident complained about noise.

12:57 a.m., Coolidge Dormitory

Campus Police dispatched officers to clear out an unauthorized party in the basement. While there, an officer identified one student who threw beer on a cruiser and another student who was about to urinate on a cruiser.

Officers responded to a noise complaint.

11:14 a.m., Valentine Hall

An officer investigated a duress alarm.

12:21 p.m., tennis courts

An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident.

11:34 p.m., Pratt Dormitory

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

Officers responded to a complaint of loud music.

11:43 p.m., Mayo-Smith House

Campus Police dispatched an officer to assist a resident who complained that people from a house party attempted to enter her private space. 

11:53 p.m., Seelye House

Officers discovered people with cups of beer on the second floor. The officers found a keg in the room. They confiscated the keg and fined one student $100.

October 19, 2003

12:31 a.m., Robert Frost Library

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated student.

12:40 a.m., Seelye

Campus Police dispatched an officer and ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

1:36 a.m., Hitchcock

Officers on rounds found an intoxicated student passed out on the second-floor stairs. After checking on the student, the officers called for an ambulance.

2:36 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

Someone pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason, activating the fire alarm. Officers fined residents $200. Officers discovered four unlicensed kegs in a first-floor suite. The officers fined one student $200 for two kegs, $100 for failing to evacuate during the alarm and $100 for creating an endangering condition by having a lit candle in his room. The officers fined another student $200 for the other unlicensed kegs.

2:37 a.m., Valentine

An officer investigated a duress alarm.

2:43 a.m., Hitchcock

An officer on rounds discovered the odor of marijuana on the first floor. The officer traced the odor to a first-floor room, confiscated drug paraphernalia from the room and referred the matter to the dean of students' office. The officer fined the resident $100 for tampering with the room smoke detector.

2:50 a.m., James Dormitory

An officer investigated a duress alarm.

3:20 a.m., Stearns Dormitory

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

1:41 p.m., Seelye

A resident of the second floor reported the theft of an HP Pavillion notebook computer from her room.

2:33 p.m., Pratt

An officer investigated a duress alarm.

A resident reported receiving a threatening e-mail.

9:00 p.m., Appleton Dormitory

An officer assisted a town officer in searching for a missing person who may have been visiting a friend.

Officers quieted a loud party.

Work in the basement activated a fire alarm.

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured food service worker.

7:40 p.m., Hills Lot

A student reported that a window was smashed on his parked car.

8:47 p.m., Converse Hall

An officer investigated a report of a burning odor.

10:57 p.m., Social quad

David Roitfarb '04 was arrested for disorderly conduct, assault and battery and resisting arrest.

11:00 p.m., Hamilton House

Officers responded to a report of two men having an altercation on the second floor.

11:01 p.m., Stearns

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured student.

11:19 p.m., Taplin Dormitory

An unidentified cause activated a fire alarm.

Officers responded to a report of two intoxicated people needing assistance.
