2:27 a.m., Hitchcock House: Amherst Town Police reported an officer found a student outside the building smoking marijuana. The police issued the student a court summons.

8:01 a.m., Seeley G. Mudd Building: A department reported a golf cart missing from the rear of the building. Officers located the cart on the Fayerweather quad.

2:04 p.m., Converse Hall: An employee reported an unfamiliar man entered her office unannounced.  An officer located the man who said he was looking for the human resource office.

12:59 p.m., Hills Lot: A student reported that someone smashed his car window and attempted to remove the stereo while the car was parked.

2:55 p.m., Pond Dormitory: A resident reported the theft of a cell phone from his room.

10:29 p.m., James Dormitory: An officer confiscated alcohol from a student's room on the second floor.

November 8, 2003

12:13 a.m., Mayo-Smith House: Residents burned popcorn in a microwave in a first-floor room, activating the fire alarm. Campus Police fined each of the three residents $33.

2:18 a.m., Drew House: Campus Police notified party monitors about a noise complaint.

3:17 a.m., Drew: A party monitor reported being assaulted while working at a party.

10:35 a.m., Porter House: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

2:44 p.m., Life Sciences Building: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

11:27 p.m., James: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

11:38 p.m., Cohan Dormitory: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party in the basement.

12:48 a.m., Stearns Dormitory: An officer confiscated alcohol from two rooms on the fourth floor.
