8:57 a.m., Appleton Hall: Construction activated a fire alarm.

January 10, 2004

11:42 p.m., Crossett Dormitory: Campus Police dispatched officers and an ambulance to assist an intoxicated female.

January 11, 2004

4:37 a.m., Pond Dormitory: Someone pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason, activating a fire alarm. Campus Police fined residents $100. An officer also identified three students who failed to evacuate and fined them $100 each. The officer also fined one student $400 for the possession of four unlicensed kegs.

January 12, 2004

6:45 a.m., Fayerweather Hall: An employee reported that a window had been smashed in one of the studios. The employee also reported that a pail of ice-melt had been thrown through the window.

7:51 a.m., Wilson Admission Center: An employee reported a broken window.

7:04 p.m., Wolff Fitness Center: A student reported the theft of a wallet from a bag left unattended while the student was exercising.

January 13, 2004

5:56 a.m., Pratt Dormitory: Campus Police dispatched an officer to assist an ill student.

11:00 a.m., Jenkins Dormitory: A contractor working on campus reported the theft of a generator from a site.

7:30 a.m., Alumni Gymnasium: Campus Police dispatched an ambulance to the trainers' room.

January 16, 2004

3:08 p.m., Kirby Theater: A sprinkler pipe burst, activating a fire alarm. 

8:30 p.m., Orr Rink: Campus Police dispatched an ambulance to assist an injured visitor.

January 17, 2004

3:09 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium: Officers responded to a panic alarm at the women's locker room. The officers discovered that a man was seen attempting to steal property from a woman's backpack and he fled when confronted by the woman. 

January 18, 2004

12:33 a.m., Davis Dormitory: Campus Police dispatched officers, ACEMS and an ambulance to assist a student who fell down the stairs.

2:37 a.m., Pond: Officers responded to a report of a fight.

2:45 a.m., Pond: Campus Police arrested Michael Strong '05. Strong was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property.

1:03 p.m., Crossett: An officer responded to a report of vandalism at the southwest entrance.

8:51 p.m., The Plaza: An officer responded to a fire alarm and discovered the odor of marijuana and alcohol in a room. The officer confiscated the alcohol and fined residents $100 for the fire alarm.

11:03 p.m., James Dormitory: Excessive cigarette smoke in a stairway activated a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100.

January 19, 2004

6:16 a.m., Cohan Dormitory: Excessive cigarette smoke in a third-floor hall activated a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100.

January 21, 2004

1:18 a.m., Social Dorm quad: Officers responded to a report of a group of people yelling. The officers discovered that several students had gained access to the Little Red School House and removed several items from the building. Officers were able to identify one student but the others had fled.

January 22, 2004

1:31 a.m., Hamilton House: An officer discovered a student with marijuana in the first-floor common room. The officer confiscated the marijuana and filed a report with the dean of students' office.

1:53 a.m., James: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

January 23, 2004

12:49 a.m., Pratt: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

1:22 a.m., Stone Dormitory: Officers responded to a report of a fight and general disturbance outside.

3:50 a.m., Crossett: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party in a second-floor suite.

3:17 p.m., Morrow Dormitory: A detector on the second floor activated a fire alarm for no apparent reason.

10:53 p.m., James: An officer identified two students who were throwing water balloons from a fourth-floor room. The officer fined each student $100 for throwing objects from a building.

January 24, 2004

12:02 a.m., Pond: An officer responded to a report of an unauthorized party. The officer shut down the party and confiscated an unlicensed keg. The officer fined one student $100.

12:21 a.m., Moore Dormitory: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud drinking party on the fourth floor.

12:52 a.m., Stone: Campus Police towed a vehicle blocking a fire lane. 

2:54 a.m., Appleton: Campus Police received a call from a parent requesting that they check on a student.

4:32 a.m., Cohan: Officers responded to a complaint of loud music.

8:30 p.m., Pratt: Smoke from birthday candles in a third-floor room activated a fire alarm. Officers fined the three responsible students in the room $33 each.

11:55 p.m., Mayo-Smith House: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

January 25, 2004

1:54 p.m., Jenkins: A resident reported that her purse had been stolen from her unlocked room.

6:49 p.m.: A student reported being involved in an accident with a college-owned van.

January 26, 2004

1:33 a.m., James: An officer investigated a duress alarm.
