February 8, 2004

3:47 a.m., Moore Dormitory: An officer responded to a complaint of loud music in a third-floor room.

11:20 p.m.: Officers responded to two complaints of several students on the fourth floor feeling lightheaded and having headaches. Officers checked the area with the assistance of the Amherst Town Fire Department, but they found nothing unusual.

February 9, 2004

12:55 a.m., Freshman Quad: Officers responded to a report of a verbal confrontation in the vicinity of James and Stearns Dormitories. One man was intoxicated and yelling when officers arrived. The officers confiscated seven beers from the man's pockets and warned the man about the complaint.

12:56 a.m., Seligman House: An officer on patrol closed down an unauthorized party. The officer confiscated two thirty-packs of beer.

February 11, 2004

8:03 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured student.

February 12, 2004

1:19 a.m., Coolidge Dormitory: Officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance and a report that a student had thrown a chair from a window.

2:31 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a complaint regarding loud music.

2:35 a.m., Valentine Hall: Officers closed down an unauthorized party and confiscated some alcohol.

February 13, 2004

9:15 p.m., Taplin Dormitory: Officers responded to a report that someone threw a beer bottle through a window.

February 14, 2004

2:06 a.m., Taplin: Officers responded to a complaint about a loud party. The officers confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined one room group $100.

7:33 a.m., James Dormitory: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured student.

February 15, 2004

12:08 a.m., Pratt Dormitory: Officers passing through on patrol shut down a small party in the basement.

12:23 a.m., Hamilton House: A student reported that somebody had stolen her coat and cellular phone from the common room.

1:24 a.m., Moore: Officers responded to a report of a fight in the alley between Valentine and Moore.

1:48 a.m., The Waldorf: Officers responded to a complaint of loud intoxicated people in the hall.

5:14 a.m., Physical Plant: Officers found an intoxicated man lying in a snow bank. The officers identified the man and transported him back to his off-campus residence.

11:11 a.m., Tyler House: Someone discharged a dry chemical fire extinguisher in the common room. Officers fined residents $150.

2:46 p.m., The Plaza: An officer responded to a report of vandalism.

February 16, 2004

12:22 p.m., Crossett Dormitory: A resident reported the theft of a Salomon snowboard which he said was held in a red carrying case. He said the snowboard was worth approximately $350.

An officer investigated a duress alarm.

February 18, 2004

1:00 a.m., Hitchcock House

Excessive cigar smoke in the first-floor common room activated a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100.

9:20 p.m., Main Campus

Campus Police towed three parked vehicles that were obstructing the driveway near Memorial Hill.

11:54 p.m., Hitchcock House

An officer found two unlicensed kegs in a first floor room.

2:15 p.m., Pond Dormitory

A student reported someone had stolen her coat and cellular phone while she was at a party the previous night.

February 20, 2004

12:30 a.m., James Hall

Excessive cigarette smoke in the stairway on the fourth floor activated a fire alarm. Officers fined residents $100.

1:07 a.m., Pratt

Officers responded to a complaint that someone was smoking marijuana on the third floor.
