2:34 a.m., Pond Dormitory: A resident complained about loud noise and music coming from a first-floor suite. Officers issued a warning to residents.

7:25 a.m., Robert Frost Library: An employee reported suspicious activity.

11:48 p.m., Davis Dormitory: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated female.

4:06 a.m., Stone Dormitory: Campus Police towed a vehicle parked behind the building in violation of the winter parking ban.

4:45 a.m., The Waldorf-Astoria: Campus Police dispatched ACEMS and an ambulance to assist an intoxicated student.

11:35 a.m., Pratt Dormitory: An employee calling from Converse reported what appeared to be a fire on the first floor. An officer determined that it was in the fireplace.

1:13 p.m., Plimpton Dormitory: A fire alarm sounded when a alarm station was activated on the second floor for no apparent reason. Campus Police fined residents $100.

1:38 p.m., Crossett Dormitory: An officer checked on a student's well-being at the request of the student's parent.

3:30 p.m., Orr Rink: A fire alarm went off for no apparent reason. Officers reset the alarm

3:47 p.m., Charles Drew House: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

7:46 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium: An officer responded to a report of a male looking into vehicles parked outside. When officers arrived, the person was gone.

11:50 p.m., Morrow Dormitory: The odor of hairspray or incense activated a fire alarm. Campus Police fined residents $100.

Dec. 19, 2004

10:02 a.m., Pratt: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

2:47 p.m., Seligman House: An officer investigated a duress alarm.

4:15 p.m., Hitchcock House: A resident reported the theft of a North Face fleece jacket.

6:35 p.m., Crossett: A pizza box near a lamp began to smolder, activating a fire alarm. Campus Police fined one student $200 for creating an endangering condition and for the alarm. While in the suite officers observed covered smoke detectors in two bedrooms. Two students were fined $100 each. Officers also fined one student $100 for an unlicensed keg.

Dec. 20, 2004

3:40 a.m., Route 9: Amherst Town Police reported finding a intoxicated female lying in the road. Campus Police determined that the student was not in need of medical assistance and transported her to her dorm.

3:00 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed six vehicles parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

Dec. 22, 2004

12:53 a.m., Davis: A resident complained about loud students in a second-floor suite. Officers responded and issued a warning.

4:19 a.m., Moore Dormitory: A resident complained about music coming from a fourth-floor room. The responding officer found a student asleep in the room and turned off the music.

4:22 a.m., Keefe Campus Center: An officer discovered two students inside the building without authorization. The officer identified the students and escorted them from the building.

9:17 a.m., Valentine Dining Hall: An officer investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call from a food service office no found no problem.

9:52 a.m., Converse Hall: An officer investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call and found no problem.

10:49 a.m., Johnson Chapel: An officer investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call at a third-floor office and found no problem.

11:58 a.m., Fayerweather Hall: An officer investigated a report of a smashed window.

Dec. 27, 2004

9:06 a.m., Stone: Officers conducting a safety inspection found a keg in a first-floor suite. Campus Police fined one student $100.

10:00 a.m., Marsh House: An officer conducting a safety inspection in a third-floor room found a pipe with apparent marijuana residue in it. A test confirmed that it was marijuana. The matter was referred to the Dean of Students office.

12:23 p.m., Kirby Theater: An officer investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call and found no problem.

3:28 p.m., Robert Frost Library: An employee reported suspicious activity.

7:25 p.m., Moore: Officers reset the alarm system after cooking smoke activated an alarm.

7:48 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium: Campus Police dispatched an ambulance and officer to a medical emergency in the lobby.

Mayo-Smith House: Heat from a hair dryer in use on the first floor activated a fire alarm.

Keefe Health Center: An officer investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call from an office and found no problem.

Main Campus: Campus Police towed one vehicle parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

6:06 p.m., Wieland Dormitory: Air freshener sprayed in a room activated a fire alarm.

2:30 a.m., Main Campus: Campus Police towed five vehicles parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

Jan. 10, 2005

1:34 a.m., Cohan Dormitory: A smoke detector on the third floor activated a fire alarm for no apparent reason. Officers reset the system.

6:10 a.m., Cohan: After another fire alarm, Campus Police notified Physical Plant to replace the smoke detector.
