Campus Police dispatched an ambulance to transport a student to Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

7:09 p.m., Valentine Hall

An officer responded to a medical call, but an injured food services employee sought treatment independently.

11:35 p.m., Pond Dormitory

An officer responded to a noise complaint. The officer issued a warning to a group in the Annex basement.

Sept. 10, 2005

12:43 a.m., Stone Dormitory

Officers responded to a noise complaint from a first-floor suite. The officer issued a warning, confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined the room group $100.

12:50 a.m., Seligman House

Officers responded to a request from a Lead Party Monitor for assistance with crowd control at a party.

3:11 a.m., Marsh House

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS and an officer to assist and ill student.

Sept. 11, 2005

1:32 a.m., Main Campus

Police observed a student throwing a trash can. An officer instructed the student to pick up the trash and return the barrel to its original location.

1:36 a.m., Keefe Campus Center

Police received noise complaints about the band playing inside.

2:19 a.m., Campus Center

Police received a 9-1-1 hang-up call from the front desk. An officer responded and confirmed that the call was dialed by accident.

2:20 a.m., Social Quad

Police received a report of two parties arguing outside. The parties had left before officers arrived.

2:58 a.m., Grosvenor House

Police received a report of people fighting. A responding officer stopped three UMass students, questioned them and asked them to leave campus.

3:19 a.m., Tyler House

Police observed a parked vehicle in the road. The officer determined that the operator had been drinking and should not drive. The operator agreed to park and walk home.

7:55 a.m., Converse Hall

Custodial staff reported that the Gator assigned to Information Technology was vandalized. The officer took a report. The matter is under investigation.

8:39 a.m., Clark House

A fire alarm was activated for no apparent reason. Officers reset the system.

10:34 a.m., James Dormitory

ACEMS assisted with transporting a student to UMass Health Services.

12:43 p.m., Pratt Pool

Police responded to an intrusion alarm but found no problem.

6:20 p.m., Campus Police

Mount Holyoke Public Safety informed campus police of an anonymous report of a past sexual assault that occurred at the College. Campus Police notified the Amherst town police.

1:17 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

Police responded to a noise complaint and shut down a party.

6:53 a.m., Jenkins Dormitory

A fire alarm was activated for no apparent reason. The responding officers requested the help of an electrician after they could not determine the cause.

Sept. 14, 2005

1:43 a.m., Route 9

Police responded to a report of an individual trying to tear down road signs. The person left the scene before the police arrived. The responding officer did not find any damage.

12:12 p.m., Fayerweather Road

A student reported being stung by bees. The student was taken to Health Services for assistance.

12:22 p.m., McGuire Life Sciences

Police responded to a request to check on the well-being of an employee. The officer determined that the individual was fine.

12:51 p.m., Steam Plant

Police received a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Responding officers found no problem.

2:32 p.m., Seeley Mudd

Police received a 9-1-1 hang-up call but responding officers found no problem.

Sept. 15, 2005

1:19 a.m., Plimpton House

A student reported that someone may have entered her room while she was out. An officer responded and checked the room. The officer determined that nothing was missing and that the door locks were not malfunctioning.

10:10 a.m., Hitchcock House

Police received a report of a damaged door. The responding officer determined that the door was damaged by being kicked, but the offender had not gained entry into the dorm building.

4:26 p.m., Crossett

Police received a report of a strong smell of marijuana smoke. The responding officer reported that no one was in the area and that the smell had dissipated.

11:07 p.m., Hamilton House

An officer confiscated an unlicensed keg and fined one student $100.

11:45 p.m., Marsh

A student reported that someone had stolen her bicycle from outside. Responding officers took a report and the matter is under investigation.
