12:57 a.m., Hitchcock House

Officers helped a party monitor who requested assistance in dealing with a man who was making a woman feel uncomfortable. While at the house, officers also assisted a student who was involved in a physical altercation.

3:00 a.m., Crossett Dormitory

An officer responded to a report that a door alarm had been vandalized. Campus Police notified Physical Plant.

6:15 a.m., Chapman House

An officer responded to a loud music complaint. The officer shut off the music that was playing in the empty room.

6:55 a.m., Waldorf Dormitory

Officers responded to a noise complaint of loud people in a first floor room and issued a warning.

7:10 a.m., Pond Hall

A Smith College student reported being assaulted at a party. The responsible man was issued a trespass notice. The Smith student chose not to pursue a formal complaint.

6:56 p.m., Lessey Street

A female student reported being assaulted and robbed while walking on Lessey Street. She declined medical attention. Campus Police issued an all-campus e-mail alert. The matter is under investigation by the Town Police.

10:19 a.m., Campus Police

A father called Campus Police in an attempt to locate his son, who was visiting the campus. Officers rendered assistance.

6:01 p.m., Valentine Hall

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an injured employee.

5:35 a.m., Life Sciences

A momentary reduction in water pressure in the sprinkler system activated a fire alarm.

5:38 a.m., Fayerweather Hall

A momentary reduction in water pressure in the sprinkler system activated a fire alarm.

9:31 a.m., Converse Street

An officer responded to a report that a tree had fallen and had damaged at least one car. The officer took photographs and notified Physical Plant.

1:57 p.m., Robert Frost Library

An employee reported the theft of a computer which was last seen on Sept. 5. A report was taken.

5:18 p.m., Hamilton House

An officer responding to a lock-out request observed a candle burning in an unattended first floor room. The officer fined the resident $100.

12:15 a.m., Crossett

Officers responded to a noise complaint at a first floor suite and issued a warning. Officers confiscated alcohol, a small amount of marijuana, smoking materials and a microwave. The matter was referred to the dean's office.
