Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

3:37 a.m., Merrill Road

Campus Police towed a vehicle that was parked in violation of the winter parking ban.

4:20 a.m., James Hall

A student was placed in protective custody and taken by ambulance to the hospital.

10:27 p.m., James

An officer on patrol encountered six underage students with alcohol. The officer confiscated and disposed of the alcohol.

10:28 p.m., Mayo-Smith House

Officers responded to a noise complaint and shut down an unauthorized party. Officers confiscated one keg and fined residents.

A fire alarm sounded when someone pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason. Officers fined the residents $100.

1:11 a.m., Stearns Hall

An officer in the building found an unattended case of beer in the basement. The officer disposed of the beer.

1:35 a.m., Pond Hall

A fire alarm sounded when someone pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason. Officers fined the residents $100.

A fire alarm sounded when someone pulled an alarm station for no apparent reason. Officers fined the residents $100.

Officers responded to a noise complaint about loud people in the common room. Officers told the people to leave.

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an ill student.

2:57 a.m., Crossett

Two students reported that they had broken a window while throwing snowballs at the building. Officers charged the students for repairs.

3:43 a.m., Plimpton

An officer responded to a noise complaint about loud music coming from a second floor room. The officer issued the resident a warning.

4:37 a.m., Stearns

Officers responded to a noise complaint about loud people in the lounge on the fourth floor. Officers issued a warning and confiscated a bottle of alcohol from a student.

2:36 p.m., Orr Rink

Campus Police dispatched an ambulance to assist a person who fell and hit her head on the ice.

9:27 p.m., Route 9

A student reported that while he was walking down the sidewalk, two unfamiliar men knocked him down from behind and walked away. The student was not injured and had nothing stolen from him.

A Physical Plant employee reported that he discovered a broken side mirror on a truck.

8:23 a.m., Plimpton

An employee reported holes smashed in a wall in the basement. An officer investigated the situation and took photographs.

4:44 p.m., Moore Dormitory

An officer responded to investigate an unusual odor that was possibly gas. The officer could not locate the source and the odor eventually dissipated.

2:13 a.m., Tuttle Farm

An officer on patrol found two local youths engaged in illegal activity and notified their parents.

1:42 p.m., Webster Circle

An officer responded to a report of a person slumped over in a car. The person was sleeping and was not in need of assistance.

6:30 p.m., Physical Plant

A dirty detector activated a fire alarm. Officers reset the system.

8:08 p.m., Davis Hall

A student reported the theft of a digital camera and a blue suitcase from the basement common room.

9:30 p.m., Valentine Loading Dock

An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident.

10:50 p.m., Waldorf

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man leaving in a vehicle. The officer searched the area but could not locate the vehicle.

1:19 a.m., Plimpton

Officers responded to a noise complaint about loud people outside the building. Officers found an unauthorized party and shut it down. During this time, a side mirror of a cruiser was broken.

1:55 a.m., Waldorf

Officers responded to a complaint about loud music in the common room. Officers ordered students to shut off the music. The officers also discovered some alcohol and disposed of it.

12:42 p.m., Crossett

Campus Police received a report about vandalized basement furniture and television. The matter is under investigation.

12:23 a.m., Moore

An officer responded to a complaint about marijuana smoke in the east stairway but could not identify the source.

2:22 a.m., Waldorf

Officers responded to a noise complaint about loud people in a first floor room. Officers confiscated alcohol and told non-residents to leave.

11:08 a.m., Valentine

An employee reported the theft of a folding table.

3:07 a.m., Route 9

A resident reported a man loitering in front of Newport House. He could not be located. Officers also notified the Amherst Town Police.

1:59 a.m., Mayo-Smith

A student reported damage done to her vehicle while it was parked on campus.

1:29 a.m., Moore

Officers responded to a noise complaint about loud people in the third floor lounge, but found the lounge empty.
