A detector activated a fire alarm in a second floor suite for an unidentified reason. Officers reset the system.

11:31 a.m., Hitchcock Dormitory

A smoke detector activated the fire alarm in the common room for an unknown reason.

8:59 p.m., James Hall

Campus Police dispatched an officer and ambulance to a medical emergency.

11:43 p.m., Valentine Hall

An officer checking the building found several underage students drinking on the second floor. The officer disposed of the alcohol.

10:07 p.m., Pond Hall

An officer encountered a number of underage students in the basement with alcohol. The officer disposed of the alcohol.

11:25 p.m., Pratt Dormitory

Officers responded to a report of underage people drinking in the common room. The people fled as officers approached. Officers disposed of the alcohol.

11:30 p.m., Tyler House

Officers and the Amherst Fire Department responded to a report of someone starting a fire in the parking lot. Officers discovered that a student was conducting a science project and stopped the activity.

11:48 p.m., Stone Hall

Officers responded to a noise complaint and cleared out approximately 150 non-residents from the building. At 12:24 a.m., officers responded to a second complaint and cleared out a number of non-residents from a third-floor suite.

The student responsible for a smashed window of a third-floor suite faces charges for the repairs.

12:39 a.m., Mayo-Smith House

An officer patrolling the building found an unlicensed keg in a second-floor rest room and fined residents $100.

1:38 a.m., Jenkins Hall

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

1:44 a.m., Pond

Officers responding to the report of marijuana smoke at a second-floor room confiscated a bong, marijuana and alcohol. Officers referred the matter to the Dean's Office.

2:21 a.m., Plaza Dormitory

Campus Police dispatched ACEMS to assist an intoxicated student.

12:29 p.m., Tyler

A student reported the theft of a refrigerator from storage. The student stored the refrigerator last semester in May.

9:49 p.m., South Hall

An officer patrolling the building located a loud group of students on the third floor and issued a warning.
