Officers and the Amherst Fire Department responded to a report of someone starting a fire in the parking lot. Officers discovered that a student was conducting a science project and stopped the activity.

A Lead Party Monitor reported the confiscation of several knives and one illegal butterfly-type knife. An officer responded and collected the knives.

Officers observed a male student urinating off the fire escape from the third floor. The officers identified the student and fined him $100 for the offensive behavior.

Officers responded to a noise complaint and shut down a small party in a third-floor suite. The officers confiscated a keg and fined one student $100. Signs belonging to Babson College were also recovered from a common room.

An officer on patrol found a man climbing up the side of the building to a second-floor balcony. The officer identified him as a resident who didn't have his ID card to access the building.

Officers observed two people on top of a car being driven down the road. They stopped the car, identified the people and warned them about the dangers of the activity.

Officers responded to a report of a group of people dressed as Native Americans throwing things around near the loading dock. The people left the area as officers arrived; the police did not find any damage.

An officer responded to a report of an man urinating outside the building. The officer found the man, who identified himself as an alum, and reprimanded him for his actions.

An officer checking the building found a man inside looking for a place to sleep. The officer identified the man as a graduate of the College and directed him to a hotel.

Officers responded to a report of someone lighting something on fire in the rear of the building. They found a student setting fire to the spray from an aerosol can and fined him $200.

A student was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol, possession of an altered driver's license and resisting arrest. His vehicle collided with a Campus Police cruiser near the Physical Plant building.

A resident reported noise and people yelling in the hall. It was discovered that someone had punched a hole in the wall.

A fire alarm was accidentally activated when a liquid came in contact with a smoke detector in a first-floor suite. The system was reset and residents were fined $100. Officers also discovered six unlicensed kegs. The officers fined two students $100 each and fined another student $300.

Campus Police dispatched an officer to respond to a report of a man wandering the halls of the building collecting books for the American Cancer Society. The officer located the man and advised him to stop his activity because he had not sought prior approval to be on campus.

Officers found a floor tile from the Earth Sciences and Museum of National History Building in the building. Officers returned the tile to its proper location.
