9/13/08 12:33a.m. GARMAN - Officer on patrol observed three men walking around Garman, Porter and Hamilton Houses. He stopped them and learned they were UMass students. They were sent on their way. Case closed.
9/13/08 5:26p.m. TYLER - A resident reported several youths behind a storage on the property. They were gone when officers checked. Case closed.
9/13/08 7:40p.m. MERRILL SCIENCE - Officer assisted a student who became stuck in a malfunctioning elevator. The student was released and Physical Plant was notified.
9/13/08 11:44p.m. HAMILTON - Officer on patrol observed three women attempting to carry a woman who was intoxicated. An ambulance was called and the female, who was a Smith College student, was taken to the hospital.
9/14/08 12:24a.m. KING - ACEMS was dispatched to assist an injured student.
9/14/08 12:56a.m. TYLER - ACEMS was dispatched to assist an injured student.
9/14/08 1:04a.m. PHYSICAL PLANT BUILDING - Officers responded to a report of two people having an argument outside the building. No intervention was necessary.
9/14/08 1:53a.m. WIELAND - ACEMS was dispatched to assist an intoxicated student.
9/14/08 2:28a.m. JAMES - A caller requested officers walk through the third floor as there is an odor of marijuana. Nothing was found when officers checked.

9/14/08 3:55p.m. TYLER - Officers responded to a report of several high school age people behind a storage shed. The youths fled when an officer approached. Case closed.
9/14/08 10:10p.m. STEARNS - A fourth floor resident reported the theft of a Chanel J12 watch which was last seen on 9/9/08. It is valued at $7,000. Case open.
9/15/08 2:29a.m. Officer on patrol found a college sign missing from the main entrance. Report filed.
9/15/08 10:27a.m. GARMAN - A caller reported a bottle with a rag sticking out of it near the building. An officer picked it up for examination. Case closed.
9/15/08 10:54a.m. ORR RINK - An employee reported the theft of cash from an office. Case open.
9/16/08 7:19p.m. JAMES - Officer responded to a loud music complaint on the third floor. No music was heard. 7:40p.m. A second complaint was received and the source was located. Warning issued. Case closed.
9/17/08 1:28p.m. JAMES - A student reported the fraudulent use of a debit card. Case open.
9/17/08 10:41p.m. MORRIS PRATT - Officers responded to the basement for a noise complaint and found students in the basement with alcohol. It was confiscated. Matter was referred to the Dean’s office. Case closed.
9/17/08 11:40p.m. CROSSETT - Officers responded to a noise complaint at a third floor suite and shut down a gathering. Alcohol was confiscated. Matter was referred to the Dean’s office.
9/18/08 7:52p.m NORTH - ACEMS was dispatched to assist an ill student.
9/18/08 7:53p.m. Campus Police served a court summons to a student.
9/19/08 12:18p.m. VALENTINE HALL - A caller reported the odor of marijuana. An officer checked the building but nothing was found.
9/19/08 1:28a.m. CLARK HOUSE - An officer on patrol observed a man urinating near the building. He was identified as UMass student and was given a warning. Case closed.
9/19/08 1:45a.m. CHARLES PRATT - Officers responded to a loud music complaint and issued a warning to a third floor resident. Alcohol was also found in the room and it was confiscated. Matter was referred to the Dean’s office.
9/19/08 2:07a.m. GARMAN - Officers responded to a complaint of people yelling outside the building. No activity was found when the area was checked.
9/19/08 3:57a.m. MORROW - Officer responded to a loud music complaint and issued a warning to a third floor resident. Case closed.
9/19/08 8:11a.m. MERRILL PARKING LOT - Officer investigated a motor vehicle accident. Report filed.
9/19/08 9:48a.m. COHAN - Officer responded to a smoke detector sounding in a second floor room. The cause was found to be marijuana smoke. The smoke detector was found covered with a plastic bag. The resident was fined $100 for tampering with the detector. An amount of marijuana was found and confiscated. Investigation continuing.
9/19/08 5:25p.m. SPRING STREET AREA - Officers responded to a report of a woman screaming. Amherst Police were also notified. Nothing was found Case closed.
9/20/08 1:05a.m. CHARLES PRATT - Officers checked on a student’s well-being per request. Case closed.
9/20/08 1:50a.m. MAYO SMITH - A resident reported a rodent was in their room. Physical Plant was notified.
9/20/08 5:51a.m. MOUNT HOLYOKE COLLEGE Public Safety reported information on a man who was arrested at an event on their campus this evening.
9/20/08 10:06a.m. PRATT FIELD - Food Service staff reported the theft of condiments from the concession stand. The items are valued at $250.00. Case open.
9/20/08 2:05p.m. ATHLETIC FIELD - An ambulance was dispatched per request of a Trainer.

9/20/08 10:31p.m. CHARLES PRATT - Officers checking the building found several students in a first floor room with alcohol. It was confiscated and the matter was referred to the Dean’s office.
9/21/08 12:05a.m. KING - Fire alarm was activated when an alarm station was pulled on the fourth floor for no apparent reason. Campus Police was able to identify the person who pulled the alarm. The person was fined $100 and the matter was referred to the Dean’s office.
9/21/08 12:37a.m. DREW HOUSE - An unwanted visitor was escorted off college property (see 9/20/08 5:51a.m. entry).
9/21/08 1:18a.m. KING - Officer checking the building heard two people having an argument in the kitchen. They were separated and sent on their way. No further assistance was needed. Case closed.
9/21/08 1:37a.m. DREW HOUSE - A female, who is a UMass student, reported she was hit in the face while attending an event. She did not know who the person is that hit her and she could not provide a description of the person. She did not require medical attention. Case open.
