Red Light ... The stuff we love to hate on.
• Ann Coulter: For 20 Gs, we could've raffled off a free semester at Amherst.
• FLICS: We respect that it's difficult to run an organization that puts out a product every week for popular consumption, only to have most of the school not read, we mean, watch it. Then again, have we missed a week yet?
• Little Red Schoolhouse vandalism: Totally despicable.
• Room draw: The worst year ever, without a doubt.
• Williams at #1: We don't care. Really.
• AAS elections: Witheld decisions, massive last-minute advertising, demagoguery, recounts; the only thing missing were the hanging chads.
Yellow Light ... The jury's still out.
• Valentine Ice Rink: Maybe people will bring their skates next year?
• Raised cross-walks: Safety is up, but the crosswalks are sinking.
• Required reading for frosh: None of us are first-years; need we say more?
• Sushi night at Val: We love the effort; how about sashimi next time?
• No spring concert: Waiting to see how Margaret Cho turns out. Regardless, it could be worse-Williams had to advertise Wyclef on our Daily Jolt.
Green Light ... Two thumbs way up!
• James and Stearns: They look awesome. Granted, it was a pain to have half of the Freshman Quad blocked off all year, and the construction was an eyesore, but those curves are just, well, hot.
• New course catalogue: You can click on a time square, and it lists every single class that's held at that time. Too bad all four classes you wanted to take are TTH 10-11:20. We're happy to welcome the registrar to the 21st century.
• Tennis court parking lot: While we can no longer brag about having the second-highest tennis court-to-student ratio in America, we can brag that there's now a parking space for every car on campus. And no birds were harmed in the process (we hope).
• First-years in the mods: See "Required reading for first-years."
• Jide Zeitlin: We said it once and we'll say it again: Good work, trustees.
• Eighty-degree weather in April: OK, so that was a week and a half ago. But those were two glorious days.
