Question of the Week 1: Iraq sentences Saddam to death by hanging. Thoughts?

"It's not a surprising outcome. But I can't support the death penalty, especially not by hanging."

-Richard Wilson '07

"No ethical red flags against the death sentence, though couldn't they have just given him a life sentence?"

-Jon Ettinger '07

"I disagree with the death penalty in general, especially by such a barbaric method as hanging."

Question of the Week 2: Did you vote? Who's going to have a majority where?

"I sent in my absentee ballot, but I didn't put enough postage on it. So I'm not sure. I hope so. The Republicans are going to take both the House and Senate."

-Richard Wilson '07

"Yeah, and the Dems are going to take the House but the Senate will remain in Republican hands."

-Jon Ettinger '07

"Yes. The Dems are going to have the House and the Republicans will keep their Senate majority."

Question of the Week 3: Favorite and least favorite bathroom on campus? Why?

"One of the most stimulating questions I've been asked today. Favorite-the bird sanctuary on runs. Least favorite-the locker room bathroom. And no, I don't want to elaborate."

-Richard "I'm a X-C runner" Wilson '07

"Favorite-Campus Police station. Their urinal has very aesthetically pleasing, angular lines. Least favorite-my dorm. One of my roommates is prone to going in the sink, and you never know when he has done it."

-Jon "My dorm room should have biohazard tape around it" Ettinger '07

"My favorite is the one on the second floor of JChap with Ulysses written on the walls. Least favorite is the one in the Val atrium, because it's always got people in it. I hate humans. No, not really. Don't put that in the paper."

-Leslie Anne "Vallandingham" Cassidy '08
