GAME OF THE WEEK
If you haven't noticed, the women's volleyball team, otherwise known as the Firedogs, are dominating opponents in the early going of their season. After suffering their first loss of the season at the M.I.T. Invitational last weekend, the Firedogs play host at the Amherst Invitational this weekend. With a 9-1 record, the Firedogs have run all over their opposition this year behind the standout play of many team members. Meredith DeMeules '02, a setter who leads the team with almost nine assists per game, was named NESCAC player of the week for Sept. 18, and Erica Hewes '02 has paced the team with almost three and a half kills per game, along with being a team leader in blocks. The team has made eight straight postseason appearances and if their dominant form of late holds they will have a legitimate shot at taking the National Title.
