Fourteen years ago, when Brian was a boy, did somebody give him a football for a toy? That's what we've been thinking, that's all we can assume. On Saturday, Daoust took three down, and sent The Streak to its doom. Three times the Ephs had the ball, and put it in the air. And those same three times Daoust pulled it in, and gave Williams a scare. Trailing in the first, the Jeffs looked a little down. But then the Jeff squad picked it up, and now they wear the crown. Last time we beat Williams, Daoust was in second grade. His favorite time was recess, and his favorite drink? Kool-Aid. He played with his new football, and when he dreamed at night, falling goalposts filled his head, along with Jeff Little III might. So now, the long wait's over, and now, we've had our day. And after the game ended, we all had our chance to play. So thanks to Amherst football, especially Brian Daoust. Head on down to Bub's now, because Williams you did oust.
