•Bates College

Basketball player Lauren DuBois, a reserve player for the Bobcats, was named both the MWBCA and NEWBA Rookie of the Week last week. In three games, DuBois averaged 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, to go with 55.6 percent shooting from behind the arc.

•Middlebury College

Former Panther Hedda Berntsen earned a bronze medal in the slalom at the World Alpine Ski Championships in St. Anton, Austria. Her time of 1:33.39 was just 1.04 seconds off the leading time of 1:32.35, set by eventual world champion Anja Paerson of Sweden.

•Bowdoin College

Ice hockey player Gloria Sonnen was named a finalist for the annual Hockey Humanitarian Award, given by the Hockey Humanitarian Foundation. Sonnen is one of two women to be named and the only Division III player to be considered. The award recognizes "college hockey's finest citizen".

•Wesleyan University

Swimmer Josh Walker completed his dual-meet season with an undefeated 15-0 record in the butterfly. Against Coast Guard, Walker cruised to the gold medal in the 200-yard butterfly, hitting the wall seven seconds before his closest competitor. He will be the top seed at NESCACs.

•Williams College

The women's indoor track team broke two stadium records at the Tufts Invitational and matched a third. The two record breakers were Rita Forte and Healy Thompson, competing in the 55m hurdles and the shot put, respectively, and Rachel Horowitz, a pole vaulter.
