•Bates College

Basketball players Ed Walker and Billy Hart became the third and fourth players on the Bobcats to reach the 1,000-career-point plateau this season. Hart and Walker both hit their 1,000th point against Conn. College, despite the Bobcats 81-64 loss to the Camels on Friday night.

•Colby College

The women's swim team placed fourth at the NESCAC Championships held at Wesleyan University last weekend. En route to the best finish in school history the White Mules broke 16 school records. For his efforts Head Coach Tom Burton was named the NESCAC Swimming Coach of the Year.

•Trinity College

The men's wrestling team took first place at the New England College Conference Wrestling Association Championships at Williams College this weekend. The gold medal title was the first the Bantams had won. Several Bantams will compete individually in the NCAA Championships.

•Middlebury College

The women's hockey team continued its dominant play over the weekend with a pair of blowout wins over RPI and the University of Vermont. Amber Neil scored four goals and had two assists in the two-game tear. Neil was named NESCAC player of the week after her success this weekend.

•Williams College

The women's swimming team proved once again this weekend that they were the class of the NESCAC by winning the NESCAC Chamionships. Also, they won four NESCAC Championship awards, including swimmer of the meet for Meredith Olson and diver of the meet for Caroline Crocker.
