•Williams College

Williams College women's ice hockey player Tori Scott was named ECAC Division III Rookie of the Week and NESCAC Player of the Week for her role in the Ephs' 5-4 OT win over Bowdoin in the first round of the ECAC Tournament. Scott scored two goals and had an assist in the first period.

•Tufts University

This weekend at the All-New England Indoor Track championships, held at Boston University, a long-standing Tufts University record finally fell. The record was an 18 year-old 3000m mark set at 8:26.32. The record breaker was senior Dave Patterson. His new record now stands at 8:24.24.

•Wesleyan University

John Biddiscombe, current Wesleyan athletic director and 26-year coach and staff member, was recognized by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) as the Northeast Division III athletic director of the year. Biddiscombe took over the position in 1987.

•Trinity College

At the National Intercollegiate Squash Racquet Association Championships Feb. 26 held at Yale University, the Trinity College men's squash team beat Harvard University for their third consecutive championship. This win extended their three-year win streak to an amazing 52-0.

•Bates College

The Bates College baseball team is in the midst of their preseason swing through Florida. Their record now stands at a woeful 0-3. In their first game the Bobcats fell 8-0 to Northwood University, and they followed that up by getting destroyed by Palm Beach Atlantic, 20-2.
