Cohen, a co-captain on the women's tennis team had an electrifying weekend in leading the Jeffs to a 9-0 team sweep of visiting schools Wellesley College and MIT. Cohen produced two singles victories, winning 6-1, 6-2 against Wellesley and 7-5, 6-3 against MIT. She also contributed to two doubles victories on the weekend, defeating Wellesley 8-2 on Saturday and MIT 8-1 on Sunday.

Jared Moshe '01

Moshe, the tri-captain sprinter on the men's track team, had the single best individual performance last weekend at the two-day NESCAC Championships. Moshe finished second in the 400m with an impressive time of 49.43. He also performed well in the 200m dash with his time of 23.07. His versatility continued to show as he helped lead the Jeffs to a second place in the 400m Relay.

Gina Scribner '04

Scribner, the phenom freshman first baseman on the softball team, had an impressive week in two double-headers against NESCAC rivals Wesleyan and Williams. Scribner scored two runs and went one for three at the plate in the 6-5 win against the Cardinals. Against the Ephs, Scribner cut the Williams lead to one with her score in the top of the seventh inning of the opeing game. She had a hit in every game she played in last week.

Brooke Diamond '03

Diamond, a standout goalie on the women's lacrosse team, had a remarkable weekend as the Jeffs rallied for an 8-7 sudden-death overtime victory against Williams. Diamond had a career-high 11 saves, including six in the second half and overtime. She allowed only three goals in 52 minutes of play. Diamond played a large part in Amherst's number-two seeded position in the upcoming NESCAC Tournament.
