•Franklin Perry '04

Perry, the hard-hitting forward on the men's soccer team, had a very eventful day as he was instrumental in the team's 1-0 win over NESCAC rival Bates College this weekend. Perry, the game's only scorer, was able to come back from a violent first-half concussion to score the game winning goal. Showing his toughness, he walked off under his own power and continued the game after the break.

•Abby Ouimet '03

Ouimet, the impressive forward on the women's field hockey team, was the difference maker in the Lord Jeffs' 4-1 win over the Bates College Bobcats. Ouimet scored the first two goals for the Lord Jeffs and assisted on the third. Ouimet showed her wide arsenal of moves on the first goal of the game as she cut across the middle and hit a rocket shot between the legs of Bates's goalkeeper.

•Erica Hewes '02

Hewes, a co-captain of the women's volleyball team, gave the Williams College Ephs everything they could handle and took the bite out of the Middlebury College Panthers last weekend. In the loss to NESCAC and Little III rival Williams, Hewes managed to put down six kills, while she was able to notch four kills in the team's big win against another NESCAC and Little III rival Middlebury.

•Mike Blaisdell '02

Blaisdell led the Lord Jeffs to a ninth place finish at the Duke Nelson Tournament, hosted by NESCAC rival Middlebury College at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course last weekend. Blaisdell, the captain of the team, had a two day score of 74-81-155, which was good enough for 19th place overall at the tournament and best Amherst performance. The team finished just 25 strokes after the winner, Williams College.
