•Pat McGee '02

Quad-captain McGee, a defensive lineman for the Jeffs' football team, was named NESCAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. McGee led the Jeffs with 10 tackles in the 35-0 whitewashing of Bowdoin last Saturday, including four tackles for a loss and two sacks. McGee, who played most of the game with a broken finger, was also named the Defensive Player of the Week once last year.

•Carter Hamill '05

Through the early going Hamill has paced the Lord Jeffs in all of their meets, except the season-opening Amherst Invite. Hamill has had top-10 finishes in three of the Jeffs' four races. In last weekend's Tufts Invitational, Hamill placed sixth, pacing the Jeffs, running the 5k course in 18:56. The harriers have had high expectations all season long and are well on their way to a trip to nationals.

•Stephanie Fong '02

Fong, co-captain of the women's tennis team, had the best weekend for the Jeffs at the Rolex ITA New England Regional Tournament, held last weekend at Williams College. Fong reached the finals in both the singles and doubles competitions, losing in both instances to Selma Kikic of Williams. Fong next leads the Jeffs into competition against UMass this week, the only Division I school on the Jeffs' fall schedule.

•Mike Blaisdell '02

After earning a spot here last week for his two-day total of 155 at Williams' Taconic Golf course, Blaisdell improved by three strokes in last weekend's NESCAC Championships, held at the same course. Blaisdell finished second in the NESCAC, shooting 77-75. The Jeffs placed two other golfers in the top-ten, Jude Volek '03 and Todd Ballaban '03, and finished second to Williams with a total of 623.
