•Bowdoin College

The men's cross-country team won the NESCAC championships last Saturday, breaking a seven-year stronghold by Williams College. The Polar Bears were led by Stephen Allison, Todd Forsgren and Patrick Vardaro, who placed second, fifth and ninth

respectively

•Middlebury College

The women's cross-country team placed four of their top 12 runners last Saturday at the NESCAC cross country championships, to win their fourth title in a row. They won with a final score of 48, while Williams College took second with a score of 59, and Amherst placed third with 98.

•Williams College

Robin Young was named NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her efforts in the Purple Eph's three wins last week. Her 46 kills with a .304 hitting percentage and 44 digs helped lead Williams to the Little III championship. Her efforts will be needed heading into the NESCAC tournament.

•Tufts University

Senior Tri-captain Brad Stitchberry scored two goals in the first round of the NESCAC men's soccer playoffs against Wesleyan University on Sunday. Stitchberry was named NESCAC Co-Player of the Week. The Jumbos went on to win the game 6-5 on penalty kicks, after four overtime periods.
