Game of the Week: Men's Hockey vs. RIT
By Sports Staff
In college sports, often times a hard-fought win or even a loss against a tough team is just as enjoyable as a blowout win against a weak team. This week, the Jeffs get to put that theory to the test with a big game against the number one team in the nation, the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). RIT will be a monumental challenge for the Jeffs considering RIT had the best offense in the nation last year and had their season marred by only one loss in the NCAA Championship.

The RIT Tigers are coming in a vulnerable state though, with a shocking 4-3 loss to the Wentworth Institute of Technology. The Jeffs, on the other hand, are coming in with a great deal of momentum with a big win against the St. Michael's College Purple Knights. The Jeffs snapped a 4-4 third period tie with two straight third period goals to win the game. Amherst/RIT should be a physical and action-packed game.
