Coach Billy McBride's team will enter LeFrak Gymnasium this Friday seeking its first NESCAC win of the season against Little III and NESCAC rival Wesleyan University. The Cardinals defeated the Jeffs 51-40 in a sloppy, turnover-filled game earlier in the season in Middletown, Conn. Amherst is coming off a tough 53-48 loss at Trinity this past Saturday, while Wesleyan, who is riding a two game losing streak, is looking to prevent Williams College from gaining sole possession of the Little III crown. In order to pull this game out, the Jeffs must cut down the 28 turnovers that plagued them in their previous tilt against Wesleyan. A win over the Cardinals Friday should jumpstart what has been so far an underachieving Jeff team and point them in the right direction.
